By chance I decided to stop in and grab some food and met this amazing young lady named Mercedes. I was undecided on what to get and she made a recommendation and it was amazing. As a tourist it was lovely running into such a dedicated employee. Next time I visit the city I will definitely stop by again

Ok, so I feel like I may get in trouble for letting the general public know that most places to eat in downtown Houston are UNDERGROUND!! Nobody talks about this and being from out of town, it took us a whole day to figure out where everything was. BUT...good luck getting down there! 2 places in the whole downtown to enter from the street. It's wild!!!!

So, anyway, this Potbelly location was great! But only if you can find it! Best of luck.

Amended review. Customer service rep went above and beyond to make the bad experience right. Great seeing a company who cares about customer service like this.

The food is good, but

They are always short staffed. Don’t order online! It will be faster for you to just wait in line. They appear to prioritize people waiting in line over on-line orders.

Made my online order with 45 minutes between my desired pick up time. Arrived and the sandwich was not ready. Waited and waited and 20 minutes later if was finally ready. I asked about 10 min in and was told it was now being made...Ok, not the end of the world, no apology for waiting 20 min. Then I finally get back to my office and the sandwich was made incorrectly. Disappointed in the service from this location.

I pre-ordered my sandwich, and specifically asked for no bacon. Instead of taking off the bacon, they took off the cheese that was supposed to come with the sandwich. In addition, the inside of the sandwich was extremely cold. I don't think they ran it through the toaster at all. Extremely poor service.

Good food, very popular at lunchtime (line can get long). Nothing that really stood out from other sandwich places. Plenty of seating. Will revisit, but not my first choice.
