Everything was delicious, but the pasta with truffles was the most spectacular pasta I have ever had in my life—literally. It was just heavenly! We loved the champagne and romatic ambiance as well. Overall, our dinner was outstanding. Service was world class. The only slight issue was the hectic mess after dinner with getting our car from valet due to large crowds on the street. It wasn’t their fault…but it was crazy! We ended up having to walk a few blocks through the traffic and crowds to get our car. Get the past! Seriously!

Not a huge fan of Prix Fixe menus however the options offered were great. The food was stellar. Loaded with flavor, great presentation and portioned perfectly. The atmosphere was also great although very busy which was to be expected. Its hard to pick the best dish of the evening, the low point was the signature pasta which seems to be stuck together as if it had been sitting prepared and waiting to have a table to go too. The star would have to be the Torta di Formaggio (pistachio cheesecake). It truly blew me away. I would definitely go back 100%. The only thing that was horrible was parking. The valet was lost and a few people were irate because they were waiting 30-50 mins for their car. Sadly this is always an issue when dining in any city. If you are attempting a fine dining experience you need to have a better strategy to accommodate parking.

Potente presents itself as an upscale Italian restaurant, but the overall experience didn’t quite meet expectations. The menu selection is surprisingly limited, with only one or two pasta dishes available, which feels restrictive for a place positioned as Italian fine dining. The side portions are extremely small, especially considering the price point.
While the food tasted okay, it wasn’t memorable enough to justify the cost—particularly given the portion sizes and limited variety. For the price, I expected more depth in the menu and more generous servings. Personally, I wouldn’t consider it a true Italian restaurant experience. Overall, it may appeal to those looking for a high-end atmosphere, but in terms of value and authenticity, it fell short for me.

Came here with my wife to celebrate Valentine's a little early, and we would highly recommend! All of the food was excellent. The truffle fries came out well-salted, crisp, and piping hot and you could actually taste truffle. The truffle pasta was well-seasoned, and cooked to just the right texture. My wife got the scallops and they had an excellent sear on them. I got the beef rib with risotto which was incredibly tender. Everything here was well-seasoned and came out hot and fresh, something that we really appreciate. I didn't get our server's name, but he had great recommendations and was very attentive. They also have a happy hour menu which is nice, because it is fairly pricey.

We’ve been to Potente several times and have always had great service, but last night truly stood out.
I was there for dinner before a show with my mom and sister, and our server, Napoleon, made the experience exceptional. He was attentive without being intrusive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and his recommendations were spot-on. His attention to detail and genuine care really set him apart.
The food was amazing. We ordered from the winter secret menu, which is $69, and it was completely worth it. Everything we tried was delicious, and I highly recommend asking about it if it’s available.
Hands down the best experience I’ve had at Potente so far. We will absolutely be requesting Napoleon every time we return. Thank you for such a great evening—he deserves a shout-out.

What an amazing experience! My fiancée took me here for my birthday celebration and I must say you get what you pay for ! The service was AMAZING not only that our server Amy was the best! Her suggestion with the food was top notch and clearly took time to understand our likings to suggest the best dish for our pallets. The food was AMAZING! Right from the appetizer to our dessert the chef nailed it! Our favorite is and we are still dreaming about the Granchio! There was so much thought put into each dish and you can taste it the moment you put the food into your pallet. The kind gesture of our sever upon telling her that I loved the maroons on my dish but I was so full to eat them that she packed extra for to-go for me 💞 Will definitely come here next time and we highly recommend & enjoy the experience at Potente. ( I’d add pictures of the food but I feel like it would spoil the experience and anticipation of looking at the dishes but I’ll add the picture of the dessert.

New to the area and a friend recommended us to check this place out. He said the Cacio Pepe Pasta was a must order even if it's shared as an appetizer. He was not wrong; it was amazing and yet so simple. Filet was cooked to perfection, the wild boar meatballs in a pasta dish were bursting with flavor. Cocktails...Everything was on point!

Special occasion, well beyond our normal price range. The atmosphere is romantic, service excellent not snobby, we felt welcome. We had the special 5 course menu. Spent 2 hours there but it seemed like the time flew by. Several of the courses were beyond delicious, 11 on as scale of 1 to 10.

We had an amazing time! The food and drinks were so delicious and high quality, our waiter was so kind and attentive, and the atmosphere of the place was so nice! Plus, when we had to leave early they were willing to pack our dessert to go and still decorated/presented it beautifully for us! It was so nice! We definitely will be returning!
