I stopped at Preslee’s while passing through Houston, and I’m so glad I did! The chicken fried chicken with cream gravy was absolutely delicious—comfort food at its best. The playground for the kids was a huge hit, keeping them entertained while we enjoyed our meal. What really stood out, though, was the amazing customer service. The staff was patient, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Honestly, I’m almost ready to move to Houston just for their food. Highly recommend Preslee’s for families and anyone looking for a great meal with even better service! I

My colleagues and I had a lunch and learn today. I ordered the chicken pot pie based my decision off some photos and reviews online. However; the chicken pot pie had only one positive for me the crust/top of the pot pie. The filling was white (almost translucent) and very clumpy. In addition the chicken pieces in the pot pie were basically non existent and the pieces that were there were very dry and tough. The vegetables were tiny and once again very minimal. The presentation & packaging was horrible. They removed the top portion of the pot pie and placed it in one food container and had the bottom portion in its own which is why I was able to see the entire filling so well. The filling lacked taste or seasoning. As a matter of fact it didn’t taste like anything to be more specific. Please consider removing this item from your menu or make serious modifications to how it’s prepared and packaged if it’s for delivery. Very disappointed and I’m still hungry. The only reason I do not have photos is because I was in a work lunch and learn because I definitely would have wanted to show you what I received compared to the other photos online.

I had such a great experience here from start to finish. The atmosphere is one of the first things that stood out—warm, lively, and stylish without feeling pretentious. It strikes a perfect balance between laid-back and upscale, making it a great spot whether you’re out with friends or on a casual date.
The cocktails were a definite highlight. Each one was thoughtfully crafted, with a great balance of flavors and a creative twist that made them stand out from the usual bar menu. You can tell the bartenders know what they’re doing and take pride in their work.
As for the food, I went with the chicken and waffles and absolutely loved it. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with seasoning that really brought it to life. The waffle was light, fluffy, and had just the right hint of sweetness to complement the savory chicken. It was comfort food done right, and I’m still thinking about it.
All in all, everything—from the vibe to the drinks to the food—was spot on. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu.
