I ordered the Italian sub, Not the best tasting hoagie, I don’t like the bread, I don’t like that’s it cold. I’ve had better Italian subs from Wawa gas station. The staff was nice and the place was clean but the food needs work. Try toasting the bread and melting the cheese and I don’t know if they have different bread but the seeded bread is not good to me.

Dined today at primohoagies. Upon walking in you can tell this is a clean, well kept establishment. It’s quite small, so I wouldn’t recommend coming with a large group to dine in. You order at the counter, our interaction was a bit interesting this afternoon. Right before we were going to pay, my partner wanted to change his 8 inch hoagie to a 6 inch— not a big deal, as the order hadn’t been payed for, or started being prepared yet. The woman taking our order immediately became very frustrated and sighed. My partner asked her ā€œis it that big of a deal?ā€ to which she replied that she’d ā€œhave to delete the order and re ring it in.ā€ This rubbed us wrong, not a huge deal but I work in the restaurant industry, guests change their minds constantly and I never show any frustration or annoyance, as it’s apart of being hospitable and kind. I ordered the whacked chicken hoagie, as you can see pictured below, the cheese is served cold. I wanted it melted, so I asked this same woman to which she gave me some pushback, because ā€œthat’s just how it comesā€ and the tomatoes and pesto would become warm, which would be fine to me, i just wanted the cheese melted so I had to insist I wanted it toasted. She finally asked the person preparing to toast it for me. These minor interactions left a sour taste in our mouths, we’d most likely just order take out our next visits.

The hoagies themselves were pretty good. The pesto and chicken cutlets were much needed on an empty stomach. My partner enjoyed the Auldie as well, he added lettuce tomato and onion to his.

Overall, they have so many options on their menu, we will for sure order again.

Hands down the best hoagie I've had in Houston!

I've tried both the Italian Diablo and Bada Bing and both were fantastic. Everything is fresh and tasty.

The chip selection is unique and fun. Lastly, the seeded bread is a very nice touch.

10 stars,bc of service. I'm from Philly, and the food is authentic hoagie.. But Missy is why I'm so enthused. I ordered multiple party platters for a work event, to showcase my home, and the app wouldn't process the order in time. So I called and when I expressed the concern of the timing, Missy offered to drive the order 3mi herself, so I'd have it in time!. You don't find that level of service anymore. My event went great, I shared my home, all thanks to Missy

Came here after an ultrasound appointment with my husband and regrettably dined in after having been met with unfriendliness and rude faces from the lady taking our order. Food was honestly not the best, even after seeing they received ā€œ best sandwhich shop in America 2023-2025ā€ we were highly disappointed. Chip selection was great and drinks were cold, that’s probably the best part of the experience here. Customer service was terrible, we still left a tip though. Will not be coming back here.

Some of the best quick-service hoagies in town. Classic Italian flavors with seeded bread. What more do you need to know? Order how you want it and enjoy. ā¬†ļø (better than any other chain jersey mikes or subway or potbelly for sure!)

Coming from Philly, I never thought I would be able to find our food here in Houston. Thanks to the Houston Eagles Nest, I found out PrimoHoagies is presently here behind Washington Street. These hoagies give my childhood memories from when I would go to class trips, Eagles, games, and many different functions. Please make sure to get a bag of HERR’s chips along with your order.
