The food is absolutely amazing! But recently the service is awful. The only guy working told me that he was to busy to take my order and the music that he plays in the kitchen is extremely loud and has curse words. This is not my typical experience but the new guy will make me think twice about coming in if he is still here. He also turned away others. (Friday November 15th)

Born and raised in the Philadelphia area I know what a good cheese steak & hoagie is! I eaten Primo's many times when I visit family in South Jersey and I am so happy to have them here in Houston, less than a mile from my house! Every sandwich we've gotten here has been great and the customer service and interactions have been phenomenal! I would highly recommend you try everything on the menu, as everything I've eaten so far has been great! My personal preferences is to not have prosciutto on my Italian, so when I order it I remove it, but other than that it is an amazing sandwich! The Philly cheese steaks are some of the best I've had other than in the Philadelphia area. Some places around here try to do good but they're nothing like Primos!
While they are a little bit more pricey, as a Primo's Perks member you can get many discounts and they also offer specials throughout the week. Bite the bullet, pay the price, and have a fantastic meal!

The food is usually great but after my experience last night (Nov 1 2024 at around 7:20-7:40pm) I'll be taking a break for some time. My husband and I went in and ordered our usual hoagies, for togo. I was going to check mine since I've had a previous issue of mine missing toppings. After some time our sandwiches came out but in dine-in trays. My husband explained it was for to-go, but also that my sandwich had vinegar which was something we emphasized I did not want, and toppings were missing. They go to remake the sandwich and return with it wrapped up. I check this one and it is missing cheese. Unfortunately I also spot a thick curly hair as well in the sandwich, on the turkey! My husband brings it to their attention and the guy who made my remake sandwich is very set on how he didn't forget the cheese. Mind you, my husband is trying to explain we just want a refund for this one especially with the hair in the sandwich! (Did not get a pic because I was in shock that a hair was in the new sandwich, I mean you would expect them to be very cautious with making a remake!)
After a refund for my hoagie we finally left. The guy with curly hair/long beard with no beard net also was scratching his head and face after we left, probably the very reason why there was hair in my food.
I would only come to this place with certain staff working, usually earlier in the day but honestly after this experience I won't really be going out of my way to see if the good reliable staff is working or if I'll be disappointed again. I'll just drive on by.

This rivals the best sub I’ve ever had in my life during a trip to upstate New York. It came a little dry the first time I visited so I asked for extra oil and vinegar this time and it was incredible. This isn’t a standard soft bread sub. It’s a crustier sub like they make in the northeast. Highly recommended.

First time. Great potential. Either made my Hoagie with old stale bread or that’s just their version of Italian. Soft white bread would knock it out of the park. The bread I got was a brick. Tasted good but chewed like cement. Staff was friendly. Based on what I got probably wouldnt risk another 30$. Too bad cause I saw a lot of different things on the menu I’d like to try

The sandwich was quite solid. The prices are a bit higher than Jersey Mike’s. The stuffed peppers were good, but should probably be kept off of sandwiches. I added them and they added a bit too much tartness from the pickling.
