Strong drinks and the vibe is super chill! Cool little neighborhood spot! Like to stop by every now and then for a nice buzz in a lowkey atmosphere!

Great neighborhood bar to hang out at. Awesome signature drinks for our party.

Went there and had one of their coffees. It was so unique and tasted great! Who knew mazapan should have always been in my coffee?

The place itself is small, cozy, and has good prices. I’ve been here before and really liked the idea of being able to choose the music from the tablet — it’s a nice touch.

However, last night we had a very unpleasant experience with the bartender, Sheryl (the pink-haired bartender). We were a group of 9 people (the bar was almost empty) and ordered drinks as usual. One of my friends asked for the tablet to play music, just like she had done on a previous visit. When she put on a song, the volume accidentally went up for a few seconds, but she immediately lowered it and apologized.

Sherry’s reaction was completely unprofessional — she came over visibly upset, spoke to us rudely, and even snatched the tablet out of my friend’s hand. As a business owner myself, I understand mistakes happen, but what matters is how you handle them. A professional response would have been something like, “No worries, we’ll control the volume from here,” rather than showing hostility toward a group of new paying customers.

The situation was so uncomfortable that after that first round, we decided to close our tab and leave. Our group went to another bar where we easily spent over $1,000. It’s unfortunate to lose that kind of business over such poor customer service.

To be clear, the venue itself is nice, but the bartender’s attitude really ruined the experience. I hope management takes note, because customer service is key to helping a bar grow and keep loyal clientele.

Nice but in a bit of a run down neighborhood. The coffee was more extracted/rich in flavor. The coffee was about 9 bucks for a drink...I think it was a bit overhyped.

They will over charge your card crazy. I went one night and only bought 3 drinks which was VERY cheap most 13$ a drink but I bought 2 shots that were 5$. The next day my credit card was charged 107+64+40 dollars that I DID NOT! charge or use this place is not worth it and they need to stop over charging credit cards if your work isn’t even good nor your drinks.

Great place. Very friendly. Met the owner. Try the Tepche with tequila or mezcal.

Some of their staff show real hospitality.
Some are rude.
Can’t give 3 1/2 stars so I’ll be nice even though there was a dead fly in one of my tacos.
It’s a nice concept for the area with an eclectic customer base.

The chillest speak easy/non-speak easy in
Houston. Chill patio vibes outside and chill downtown vibes inside.

Pretty cool and chill place. Come on their 75 cent drink Wednesdays special to check it out since we were already downtown. The atmosphere is cool and chill neighborhood bar. The staff is friendly and attentive. There was a good size crowd there tonight, just about every table full inside and our but not too packed. Next time we will have to come and try some food. Aside from the drink special we had a few of their signature cocktails which were both goood!! Definitely will return soon!

Had a great time here. Our bartender was Joe and he was awesome! We got free crawfish with the purchase of a drink. All the drinks we had were great, but the sandia and dama were especially yummy. Bathroom was clean and they have free parking across the street. Def would come back.

This bar is a well-oiled machine! Everything from the decor to the drinks is excellent and exceptional. They had the most flavorful crawfish. Sophie, the bartender, made me a mojito and la dama, and both were delicious. There's also a coffee menu for earlier in the day. I'm definitely going to try that next time! I've been to both locations in Houston, and they are more than meets the eye, and both have really cute (and clean!) bathrooms! I went for the live music by Floyd Bauler, and he rocked. The entire crowd was singing along. He even brought a girl to tears with his emotional songwriting. It. Was. Beautiful.
