It was my first time having dinner here and it was for my birthday i have to say the service from Robert was impeccable from attention to detail to going above and beyond. They even signed a happy birthday letter for me and i thought it was so cute and kind. He took pictures and even made some good recommendations. The place has a fancy and lovely interior. The food was delicious i will definitely come back 💜

It was our first time. We were a group of 10 people. I want to acknowledge Daniel. He was great. He showed us around the restaurant and was informative.

What a great experience. I’ve never been to a restaurant that serves wild game, and I’ve got to tell you, what a treat! Great food, service, and the ambience is exquisite. Made for a very special occasion.

My boyfriend and I came here without a reservation for an early valentines dinner on Wednesday. Our waiter Isreal was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us by giving us wine recommendations for our food. The atmosphere itself was quite lovely and the front was decorated with a Valentines Day theme. Next time I would love to sit outside if possible. Our food was also delicious! Very flavorful. I would definitely come here again

Food was amazing and there’s tons of parking in the front- get crabs fingers, shrimp and grits a little greasy and salty for me, the chicharrones from the tuna was stale but they fixed it and it was amazing. The chicken skewers had skin so made it tasty, the tuna is out of this world, always try the jerk fish collars it’s out of this world. The oysters have flair but a little dry- worth trying though- all in all an amazing meal. The jambalaya balls we’re not that special for Michelin place but it was good. Total bill for 9 people $400.00

Wow! First, let me start by saying this place is beautiful, but I honestly can't find the words to express how wonderful this restaurant is—the food, the staff... Oh my God, I've been living in Houston for 10 years and I had never visited this restaurant, which, for me and my fiancé, is the best restaurant in Houston. I loved this place; it has become my favorite. All the employees, in my opinion, are incredible, but I was so lucky to be there on the night of February 7th, 2026, and the waitress who served us was so special to my fiancé and me. As I said before, being in this place is like being in another part of the world, surrounded by genuinely kind people, people who truly care about their customers' feelings. Incredible! We will be back soon. Thank you all!

Been coming here with my dad since I was a kid to now hosting company events here. Top 5 spot in Houston, hands down. Great date spot with plenty of options, lunch options are plenty, and housed in a badass venue with plenty of history that always feels inviting. So, if you enjoy ordering from thoughtless menus and are looking for poor service, don’t come here! Excellent all ‘round.

They were amazing for our anniversary, Thomas was a fantastic server and even brought us a treat for our special day. Thomas is knowledgable on the menu both food and beverage and was very nice and attentive. They made us feel special and at home, they even wrote us a card for our anniversary, it was so good and such a great time we will now make it a tradition to visit for our anniversay.

Izzy the waiter is an incredible server. Food here was generally amazing. We were less impressed with our appetizers (tater tots + caviar and quail bites) and would order differently than we did our first time, but the entrees and desserts? Phenomenal. Genuinely the best ribeye steak we've ever tasted; we've never had a place be able to cook a rare steak and develop such a crust on the outside. Their game meat was also equally good. Very much recommend this restaurant!

I met a good friend for lunch yesterday at Rainbow Lodge. I haven't been there in a while. They have a great lunch menu. We had the rolls and butters for an appetizer and both had the business lunch special for our main entre. You could choose from the gumbo or a salad, chicken or featured daily fish and a petite sweet. These were small portions and it was perfect. I chose the duck gumbo, chicken artichoke and it came with bread pudding. All was delish. And, it was only $21.00. I would definitely go back again for lunch and take my husband.
