This place was perfect. Top notch service food was fantastic and the back porch was absolutely beautiful.

This place is never a disappointment. Ate the wild game plate and friend ate the ribeye chimichurrie steak. Was the absolutely best. Bloody Mary wasn't really good but I went for the food. The croissant. Bread pudding was amazing. Cost was responsible for what we ate and I will keep going back.

We like this place. Great service first and foremost. Cocktails as well. Never had a dish we didn't like, but in the same breath never had one that we thought was worth the price or would come back for. I know it's right up a lot folks alley as far as food? I guess..?. I personally wish they would execute dishes differently- update the menu to 2024 or even 2018+ I've tried different dishes, thought on the last visit to order something they couldn't mess up in any century. Ordered the ribeye I was wrong. There's no reason a ribeye should be lathered in sauce. To each their own. We probably will not go back anytime soon. If we did, at least we know we'll have good service and will just manage expectations moving forward. So much potential to be better though. Hope to see them around for the next 100 years. I'm sure one day they'll realize they should update their menu when the original patrons are no longer available.

Such a fun date night spot. Started with the Taste of the Wild which I believe changes daily. With our order we received venison, buffalo, and quail. All very good. Not pictured are the rolls with 3 different spreads - a must order. As our mains we ordered the Grilled North American Elk and South Texas Nilgai Antelope Loin. The Elk was good, a little well done. The antelope was the star, would highly recommend. Delicious all around!

What a great place. If you are looking for a place that has wild game food, this is the spot. It has the lodge look mixed in with a touch of elegance. The food is excellent and prepared in a gourmet fashion. The fish and other selection of meats and vegetables will definitely meet your taste buds.

The restaurant has a pleasant environment and attentive service, making the whole dining experience very pleasant. I had a wonderful evening here.

First, I'd like to say that the service was lovely. Our server was kind & helpful, which was very much appreciated. The food was just okay. We got the rolls and taste of the wild for appetizers, both of which were tasty and by far the best part of the meal. My partner got the lamb as an entree, which he found to be lackluster and pretty disappointing. I got the shrimp and crab risotto, which was undercooked (but the shrimp overcooked). They kindly removed the risotto from the bill. It was a busy Saturday night, so maybe things were hectic in the kitchen. I wouldn't necessarily try this place out again. It has a cool ambiance and it is a unique experience to try game you aren't exposed to every day. All in all, I doubt we will be returning but, again, the service was nice and we had an otherwise good time despite finding our entrees to be disappointing.

I had been wanting to try this place, so we came here on a couples date night. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. However, it took forever to even get water brought to the table and this was literally the theme of the entire dining experience - service was extremely slow the entire night. Our server was sweet but just overwhelmingly slow. I know they had a wedding party there so perhaps that was part of the problem and not typical. We started with the Taste of the Wild, which had antelope, venison and I believe bison? All of the meat was terrific, so I opted to get antelope for my entree and requested medium rare. Unfortunately, what they brought me was medium well, and since I am not one to send food back (and they took forever to begin with) I just sucked it up and ate it. I will say the grits were pretty tasty. My husband got the filet and he said it was ok. Our friends got the trout, which she said was good, and he got the elk, which he said was ok but not as good as the sampler of antelope. The Texas Old Fashioned was a definite winner, and I am glad I got that. Overall, the meal was ok but I can honestly say I will not be back.

The food was a little weird. I got the shrimp and crab risotto. Didn't see a spec of crab in there nor tasted it. The Cesar salad also kind of weird. Fried cappers and a large anchovie in the middle. Dressing left a waxy taste in my mouth. The portions were small. The steak was really good. $200 for 2 people definitely on the pricey side. Mostly wild game on the menu. Pretty pricey for venison and boar. Usually get that stuff for free from friends. The atmosphere was nice. Looks like a good place to sit outside but it was rainy. The service was good but I don't think I would go back. Between the pricey wild game and the portion size think there are a lot of other places in town I would rather spend $200 on a meal

We went for Easter brunch and while I knew the restaurant specialized in wild game I was hoping for maybe just a traditional eggs Benedict or pancakes. All the offerings on their Prix Fixe menu were game choices and yes they offered eggs Benedict but with bison short ribs. Beautiful setting and our waiter was fabulous.

Beautiful place. Luke warm Coffee. Weak drinks. Tiny portions of food. Outrageous prices.

Service and ambiance are always excellent. Our food was very good: my husband had the field breakfast and I had the chicken schnitzel. I was super bummed that there is no bread basket with brunch anymore. It used to be a favorite and one of the reasons for coming back. Appreciate the complimentary valet.

We had a great time here. We have a young daughter and she loves the outdoor area. It’s really beautiful. The staff were friendly and attentive.
