I live in Dallas. Every time I visit Houston to see my brother, I stop at Raja sweets and grab some authentic Indian sweets with an unmatchable taste and quality.

Houston staple for Indian sweets.
One suggestion to help bring in more customers... I hope Raja Sweets and neighboring restaurants advocate to their landlord (during rent increases or lease renewals) to install EV charging stations in the parking lot. There are already several EVs who come here. I recommend reaching out to local Houston company Pangea Charging if you decide to explore this further.
It's a great way to bring in more customers, increase spend, and even create loyalty.

Amazing Houston! Raja Sweets is one of the original street food in Houston. It’s not Michelin star! But it is best Desi. Food & sweets in town. Very affordable. Includes a pan leaf ( beetle nut ) after food snack / tabaco shop!

Absolutely recommend this place for desi sweets. Been there a few times and their mathai is probably one of the best. Service is decent and they serve to make sure you are satisfied.

Very nice collection of sweets and I would like to mention the standard of customer service in particular. The lady at the counter was very good in explaining what they have in the menu and I really got convinced to order.

Asked them for fresh jilebi for party at my home. They forgot my order and all the three members in the front counter managed to give me old jilebi which was in the display from ages. All the guests gave negative review on jilebi. Taste and crisp is not upto the mark. Service is also low quality same as their jilebi . RIP jilebi and money. Not worth at all....highly not recommended.

My favorite stop when I’m in the Harwin area. Always delicious food, many vegetarian options, desserts are amazing!

Had Rasmalai. They just put rasgulla balls in very sweet milk. The balls were hard indicating that the rasgullas also in the shop are poor quality. Not going back here

I want to share my experience with raja sweets, we came all the way from Dallas on 12 Feb 2025, bought couple of sweets and pakora, they gave the red sauce with it. When we came home check the sauce it had cockroach in it. I was extremely disappointed with their cleanliness standards and quality checks. To Everyone whenever you buy something do check it. @ Raja sweets please improve your standards and quality checks.
Maintaining good sweets and at reasonable prices throughout the years
