My favorite spot for vegetarian ramen. The kale noodles are cooked perfectly, the broth is flavorful, and the fried lotus roots and mushrooms are delicious. Definitely recommend this spot for vegetarians craving ramen.

Ramen Bar Ichi (Poetic review)

Oh, how delicious were those noodles spun,
A dream that danced beneath the sun.
Drooling, salivating at the thought,
A craving deep that I had sought.

Each tender strand, a gentle kiss,
Filling my stomach, pure bliss.
Fresh fish, to my liking, divine,
A taste that lingers, truly mine.

A savory symphony on my tongue,
A meal remembered, sung and sung.
In every bite, a story told—
Of flavors cherished, rich and bold.

Tonkatsu Ramen - the noodle was perfectly cooked, not too soft.
Chicken Karage - surprisingly came with garnish that made it looked beautiful.

One of the better places to get your ramen, I usually don’t draw comparisons, but I see a lot of people mention ramen tatsuya and this being better than that. This is where I disagree, I think Ramen Tatsuya is way better than this place. Tried the karage, gyoza and spicy tonkatsu and all of it was decent.

The food here is super flavorful and the vibe is definitely something I’d come back for as well. It’s chill👌like a place you can go on a first date to be able to listen and hear what they have to say.

Ramen Bar Ichi was a great spot for comfy ramen and karaage chicken. I had the Pollo Loco ramen, which is a chicken broth-based soup, and it looked quite creamy with various toppings, including ground chicken, black mushrooms, bamboo shoots, green onions, and black garlic palm oil. The broth was delicate and not overpowering.

The karaage chicken with the onion sauce topping was a visually appealing dish and quite appetizing to look at. It tastes as delicious as it looks!

The service was excellent, with very attentive staff. We will definitely return to try other dishes.

This place was a random pick/ stop a few years ago during my kiddos dental appt. Now it’s become our biannual tradition post appt.
Dishes we’ve had-
- Shime Saba Aburi (it’s basically salt & vinegar cured Mackerel that is flame seared. Very yummy and the reason why my kids wanna come here- we love it!)
- spicy Tonkotsu ramen (plenty of noodles and well seasoned broth, but doesn’t come with the egg- you’ll have to add to it)
- chicken Karage (oroshi ponzu and mentai mayo- both were delicious, the ponzu is more soy sauce based and tangy while the mentai is creamier but not super saucy)
- shrimp kakiage (the shrimp is oily, but with the pickled leaves and rice it’s absolutely yummy and what I usually get)
- a spider roll (the portion is pretty big!)
- I also got a sake cocktail that was very delicious!
It’s an unassuming place, no wait time usually and the booths are comfortable. Not much to go vibe wise but service is nice and attentive.

I had the ramen salad, like a hiyashi chuka but better. Spinach noodles are perfect al dente. Perfect for a hot day. And for people who prefer lower sodium, this is it. Salad sauce comes on the side. You're supposed to pour it in the salad but I just used it to dip my chicken in.

I love the Tokkonsu Spicy Ramen n the Pork Gyoza. I usually hv this with a milky Nigori Sake n Mochi GreenTea/Macha ice Cream. The food always tastes fresh n the spicy paste is a must for me. It adds the extra kick of flavor n sodium that I love.

Today I tried the soup with large noodles n the soup on the side (added spicy paste) with the Gyoza, Lychee Flavored Sapporo Beer n the Mochi ice cream. It was a lil different as ur supposed to dip the food/servings individually. I ended up putting several servings n the bowl of soup instead.. essentially making it like the Tokkonsu lol..

Gyoza n Mochi is always tasty but the flavored beer was new for me. Id honestly but again over the sake. The sake is my favorite but since more potent then beer it makes me sleepy sometimes.
