We’ve been going here since it opened! Love the ramen! We got the joy of taking our daughter for the first time today and she enjoyed her kids ramen! Thankful for the memories we have because of this place.

Went to check out the hype. The place was clean, and it had a good vibe. The music playing was hip hop, really hit well at least for me. The food was really good, portions being well sized for the price. Staff was friendly. The only thing they didn't have was chicken ramen, the only type I saw was pork fyi. All in all, it was a good experience that would have me coming back.

Awesome authentic Japanese ramen spot with quick service. Super cool atmosphere and interior design. Ramen came out quick and flavor was spot on. Rich and flavorful broth. Tasty ingredients. No need to order “bomb” add ons- broth is already perfect!
Especially the OG Tonkotsu. Can also recommend the mi-so-hot

This has become my go-to Ramen lunch spot when I'm working downtown. I wanted to try the menu a bit before leaving a review, but I've really gotten stuck on the OG Ramen (with a spicy bomb).

edit: Incredibly consistent and delicious.

We frequent Tatsu-Ya about twice weekly. We finally tried it out about 3 months ago and have been consistent patrons ever since. Staff is cool and friendly. The tables are always clean. I loooove their Ramen. I'd say the OG is my favorite (with added spice). The dumplings are also well made and tasty.. we've also had it to-go and they do a thoughtful job with packaging and serving size. Some of the tables are communal, just fyi. My only complaint is parking. The lot is small, and everything else is residential street parking, which fills up quickly. Definitely recommended though.

The ramen is great. The downside for me however is the ramen was luke warm. I visited twice & it was luke warm both times..they weren’t busy. Ramen should never be luke warm so that was annoying. I probably would avoid coming here again because of that. The servers are not that friendly but they also do not do much since it’s pretty much a self service environment. The atmosphere itself is cool though.

Sho-Yu ramen is rich and satisfying, perfectly balancing savory broth with fresh ingredients. Highly recommended for both taste and ambiance! So great!

Employees were very rude and it was dirty inside. Bugs crawling on the floor and tables. I told an employee about it and their response was “just deal with it”. Owner needs to be managing better.
