We visited Privacy on Friday evening with a reservation for 8:30PM. As time got closer, I checked the reservation to make sure we were still on track and I noticed they pushed our time to 9PM. We booked the complimentary section as we had never been there before so we did not know if we would like it enough to purchase a $250 bottle. The lounge did not open until after 9PM so when we finally got seated, we were told that we had to pay for the section. Mind you there were maybe 20 people total inside this club with no line at the door and this included the employees. We obliged because we did not want to cause problem's for our friend's birthday. We finally get seated and choose our bottle which took about an hour total. We tried to order food and the kitchen was closed which was the real bummer as we had planned on having dinner here as well. The music was the best thing about this place. The women's bathroom smelled HORRID and there was no soap to wash hands only hand sanitizer. Overall we will never be visiting this place again.

Their website says fridays 5pm-10pm and they did not open their doors until after 9:30pm. Claiming the DJ was running late. Just unorganized and inconvenient.

I made a reservation for 8PM for happy hour on the website. Got a confirmation and when we arrived they said they don’t open until 9. Ratio should have stated ratio at their old location

Scam parking! Watch your reciept!! I was told I would be charged $10 to self park instead of $20 to valet. I checked my texted receipt (which I asked for because they didn't offer) and found that I was charged $22.65 which included $1 for gratuity. I went back to the attendant and was told that he said $20. If he said $20, I wouldn't have parked my own car! SCAM!

My party and i arrived and we were held in the lobby area for at least 15 minutes to “wait” on staff to finish their opening work. We arrived after the said time establishment opened. We intended to come in here and get drinks, hookah, and get some light food on our stomachs before going to our next destination. When we were finally sat, we were told the kitchen was not to open up at all and the drinks we thought we were paying for at the set minimum were only alcohol shots and a mixer type drink… no cocktails or straight shots… our server was very friendly but seemed to not know much of what was going on. after more guests arrived, we did not see our server for at least 30 minutes. again, we came in intending to get drinks, a hookah, and light food. i’m still here as i’m typing this and it’s been almost 3 hours. the place has the bones for a great club, but hospitality consulting is definitely needed, coming from a young entrepreneur/ business owner. wish these guys the best of luck. i will come my next visit to houston and hopefully give a more thorough, positive, review.

Don't go out really but since it is my birthday weekend & my best friend is visiting from NY decided to give it a try. Atmosphere was cool, did like the privacy ambiance. Arrived early because of other plans close by... Walked in & waited a few minutes no one was there to greet us. Sat down & took over 10-15 mins to get any kind of service or acknowledgement. Didn't like that but I get it.... The hookah was great, appreciated the birthday champagne. Early so it wasn't crowded but still made the best of it. Honestly I would probably not visit again but I don't go out much so....Also no food during our visit... understood the pipe situation but maybe update that on the website or email/text after the reservation.

Made reservations for a night out at their new location on Austin next to the pizza parlor. The reservation was confirmed via text message. Guess who was there.....? No one...? Just us, the doors were locked, and the metal barricades were stacked neatly next to the door. Who confirms a reservation while knowing they are not operating at that time? We did pass by the old location on Main St to see if there was a mistake as to where they were, and there was no one there either. We called the number listed on Google maps and received a reply via text stating the new address. We told them we were there. After a few exchanges regarding the address, they no longer replied. Poor business model!

Reservation confirmation clearly said $0 minimum spend but they wanted to charge $500 minimum since they relocated. Rent needs to be paid and they’re catering to non melanated folks.

Got here for a reservation, received my bottle almost a hour after requesting . We had to ask for our mixers and didn’t receive them until we had our bottle for 40 minutes- we asked several people . We now have 20 minutes left in our reservation after waiting for mixers and not enjoying our 2 bottles .

Crawfish was nasty !!!! & Squishy had to be reheated!! my Potato’s was old and black in the middle and the crawfish was suppose to be spicy didn’t even taste like anything ! My cousin got the Cajun pasta the chicken was seasoned and the pasta sauce wasn’t spicy as it was said to be by waiter! Hookah $50 small asf and taste horrible they was literally out of everything I wanted I couldn’t add crab legs to my crawfish order I had to pick one or the other. no wonder no food pictures are on instagram and the music was way too loud !! The rules don’t make any sense your whole party has to be present to be seated….

We’re from New Orleans and took my wife to Houston for her birthday. Decided to try Ratio……….BIG mistake !!!! We get to the front door and we’re told that to sit at a table we need a reservation. There were 3 people in the whole place. EVERY freakin table was empty but we need a reservation??!! So we sat at the bar and while we’re deciding what we wanted the bartender offered us a bottle of water. Most places water is complimentary or maybe $1-2. We had know idea until our check came that we were charged $8 for a bottle of water. Yea, that’s right we paid $16 for 2 bottles of water !!! My wife ordered a hookah and after about 30 minutes of waiting we got up and left b/c The hookah never came. Not sure who owns or manages this place but they are doing a piss poor job. I can now see why the place was empty on a Saturday night. Will NEVER go there again !!!!!!!!!

The service was horrible! I ordered a hookah and never received it, over priced, we had to sit at the bar because we didn't make a reservation but there was literally no one in there but us and the young ass workers, which were high!!! I do not recommend this place at all! I ordered the Alfredo pasta with chicken which they were out of, so I got the fried shrimp. The pasta was hella salty and clumped up with cheese. I ate the fried shrimp which was on the salty side and had to drink water with every bite. This place needs to go out of business or new management because this is not a good look.

At least my drink was good.
