I really like this place. They had a change in the menu, but the food feels like it's prepared with better ingredients, an extra level of flavor. The service has changed a lot, the waiters enjoy serving you. It used to be very different, but on my visit, they really impressed me. Plus, they give you the check with a cotton candy panda! I thought the service left a lot to be desired. We constantly had to ask for things like water, a knife,. It was a split check, and he really did not understand what we were trying to do. Maybe naïve on my part for the bill, but certainly the water glass should be refilled more than one during the evening. Took a long time to get the knife in order to cut some of the food. I thought the prices were high in the amount of food was lacking. The quality of the food was very good however

The sushi is absolutely amazing, and they have a variety of rolls. We tried the cinco de mayo roll and the pepper blaster which we loved!! The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was very enjoyable!

I was so pleased to read about the reopening of Rattan, but was, sadly, disappointed with the experience. The lighting is more chain-restaurant bright, the servers were dressed quite sloppily, and were very slow with service even though there were plenty of them on the floor. There was one menu on the table to share between us- we commented on it and the waiter just shrugged and walked away. The price changes really floored us. They didn't just increase, they went crazy-high. We ended up not staying because even the appetizers were overpriced, yet most were unappealing.
