One of the best little live music venues in Houston Texas. To get a true taste of local and regional Tecas music up close in an intimate and fun atmosphere, this is the got-to spot. Huge outdoor area with live music out on the green space during good weather too and great live music on the indoor stage most nights too. Highly recommend for locals and for those visiting The city and wanting to take in some great live music.

Dope spot for drinks and just hanging out. Live bands rock the show. Bartenders are on point, with speedy, accurate service.

Turn down ur music it is illegally loud over the 86 decimal limit of the city and you give nothing to our grove community. Please go away

Hole in the wall neat spot. Beware of skunk odors and small enclosure. Service is good if not overpacked

I was really happy to find this spot! My first time exploring HTX and I was looking for some open mics and live music. It’s a great neighborhood /dive bar with good bbq and good people just having a good time. I felt very relaxed while people watching lol and loooovvved the back yard Bayou! Really a cool spot. Ya dont find em like this much anymore.

Parking is limited. It's charm comes from being at the crossroads of a neglected part of the city, near encroaching construction but still isolated. Once the multi story condos are finished two blocks away, someone with deep enough pockets will develop this into a spruced up eatery with a great outdoor area that will appeal to a trendy crowd. For now, it's a great place to get away from the white collar oriented lifestyle that has cookie-cluttered all development. For now, it stays and old school bar catering to the low income locals that development threatens. I'm told the bands are popular with a younger generation on weekends. Where they park, I haven't a clue.

10/10, no notes, plus great commentary from the owner on their Google review's *Chefs Kiss*.
