I have visted this place three times. The first time my partner and i went there was only two other people there. The food came out within 20 minutes, food was fresh. Each plate was about $24. We each had the Kennedy dinner with 4 wings. Food was worth the price however sweets tea was extreamly high $5 per cup.The second visit we came in and ordered the same meal. It took over an hour and a half, not exaggerating to be served. Servee asked for our order multiple times. We ordered the Kennedy again this time the dinner only came with 3 wings. But side portions were bigger (greens, loaded potatoes andctx toast) this time potatoes were tasteless.Dispite the second visit we tried the place a third and last time. For some reason the music was extremely loud. Upon arrival we asked to place our order the young lady advised that she would go get our order, thinking we placed an order ahead of time. We let her know multiple time that we wanted to place an order but this is not her fault as the music was extreamly loud. Finally we got our Kennedy dinners and this was when we decided we will not be returning. The Kennedy dinner chicken count changed again. The chicken was not even done the chicken had a crust coating on it but the actual chicken skin was like biting into flesh. It was disgusting as the checken was undercooked when you broke the xhecken in half we found that it was still raw. We were not provided a refund or remake we paid our tab but will not be returning.Atmosphere is ok music so loud you can not have a conversation with the person next to you. Service is ok depending on who you get. The really slim lady at the bar is sort or rude and has a offputting attitude. The most important thing to me isvthe quality of what i pay for, and this is not it. food and pricing is inconsistant.

I enjoy trying new spots especially if black owned.. but the experience seems to be the same.. me regretting even patronizing. This place is terribly over priced.. food is sub-par and customer service is worse ..how is 3 wings n fries 30 dollars.. pork chop sandwich almost broke my tooth.. how is it possible to eat around huge bone with all the lettuce tomatoes onion.. that sandwich is a bad idea.

Fried chicken and shrimp were really good! The price point is ridiculous though, 3 wings and two sides for $30 is crazy. The fried fish is tilapia which was also $30 would like to see catfish for that price. Greens were canned and all sides are $10 even fries. The service and vibe were on point. If the prices were more reasonable I believe the restaurant would see more business outside of lunch.

Friendly service. Generous portions and great lunch specials. Got the lunch hamburger special and the meat patty was fresh, and bigger than my hand. Fries were yummy and homemade. I appreciate the extra effort to cook meals fresh, not from premade/frozen. Looking forward to trying the pork chop lunch special!

This was my first visit, but my daughters frequently raved about their pork chop sandwiches. On my visit however, we were greeted with a very rude woman and another angry woman presumably the owner. After ordering lunch, the waitress brought out three large watery daiquiris. I asked are these the lunch specials as we were expecting $5 margaritas as seen on the door and these drinks were large. The waitress replied that the drinks were $14.99 a piece and my daughter mentioned that she usually gets an entire half gallon for that amount. The waitress was attitudinal and made no effort to change the drinks out or offer a smaller version. We then tried to lighten the mood by mentioning that my daughter’s were regular guest. The lady rolled her eyes and walked off. At this point we cancelled our order and paid for the drinks. We were the only guests at the time and she treated us as if she could care less about whatever we were saying. I was okay with paying for the overpriced drinks after she didn’t seem willing to offer a solution or alternative, but I refuse to spend money where I do not feel valued as a customer. It was a disappointment and I wouldn’t recommend visiting this establishment if you prefer good service.
