I don’t know what happened to the Anvil and other type of bars of old where there was a proper menu of cocktails that spanned multiple pages. Here you have 5 original cocktails that are all riffs of classics. And then you had 5 classic cocktails. Very limited drink menu from a bar with such a high pedigree. I get that you have to churn out consistent drinks quickly nowadays but that just makes you a generic bar serving old fashions and manhattan riffs like everyone else

AMAZING. my fiancé made a reservation to celebrate our engagement with some friends. I really like the vibe, amazing ambiance and music and decoration. Drink options are great and staff are incredible!!!
One thing, the marble coaster got stuck to the glass and drop often. Another words, when you pick up the glasses, the coaster comes with it for a bit and drops with a bit of noise.
Other than that— PERFECT 10/10 !!!

Wow cannot begin to describe the amazing experience Julia and Aranza provided! Extremely knowledgeable and severed the meanest cocktails west of the Mississippi ❤️
Totally understand the $10 per person cancellation fee, but felt like it was enforced unfairly against us. We called asking if it could be waived due to inclement weather and were told that they would waive it. Saw a hold on my card so called the next day and left a vm. Ended up getting charged with no refund. Should have re-checked my cc bill sooner, as a few months have passed now. Is definitely mostly on us for cancelling only an hour early, and for not following up when the hold turned into a charge, and again appreciate that the fee is there for a reason, but wish it would have been taken care of on their end after the call in and the follow up vm. Admittedly the time we went previously I liked the drinks and vibes (although my wife less so).

Refuge is an absolute blast and the perfect spot for a late night out. The atmosphere is always lively and fun, and the crowd is great.
