Great place with a lot of potential but for me customer service is number one. I do not care to pay any price for a drink but customer service is priceless. It seems the bar tenders are overworked and that is why we got the bad luck to be treated poorly but that is not an excuse. My wife and I were random people walking in and we felt like the bartender’s stress was dumped on us for no reason. I understand his frustration but nonetheless we did not deserve his poor treatment.

Come prepared with all the vast knowledge of whiskey and what they carry or the staff will treat you like you’re a child. The only stars here go to the really cool looking bar and atmosphere but the girls behind the need work.
We ordered old fashions an asked the bar tender for a whiskey recommendation. He ended up making doubles without asking us and used the top shelf whiskey which costed $60 per drink. After 4 old fashions and waiting 30 mins for a bar tender to come back to us, we got a surprise bill for $240 for 4 drinks.

All around superb.
Stopped in after work with a group of 5. Cool bar on the corner, you can see the people walking by, brings the energy of the city into a cool little whiskey bar with minimalist decor. The Not-So-Old Fashioned with Stanahan’s Blue Peak was excellent (x3). The Alpine Glow also got great feedback!

Do not go here! The cocktails are watered down first off. Bigger issue yet, we asked for a specific whiskey while pointing it out on the menu where the price was $12, but when the check came they had scammed us by serving one that was nearly $40 per. When we confronted them about this, they insisted they were in the right because it was what we received. How were we to know that the bartender grabbed a more expensive version with the same brand when we clearly expressed wanting the one from the menu. On top of that the service was incredibly slow. It took over 15 minutes for my mojito to be delivered during a relatively slow time. Truly an awful experience all around. Do not go here.

Amazing, Izzy helped me select the perfect pour. Such a great bartender. Reserve 101 also has the best old fashions in Houston. Highly Recommend!!!
