Great little coffee spot, and the food and lattes were divine. Love their seasonal drink concoctions and the cute outdoor space.

I normally get an iced latte no flavors so the coffee has to be really good for me to really like a place. Retrospect is serving just that- delicious coffee and good food. Not a fan of the tacos at no fault to them as they source them from Tacos A Go Go and the muffin was good but a tad dry. My husband got a savory crepe and loved it so much he didn't offer me any -_-.

Outdoor seating is super cute and covered which is a must with the Houston heat! Parking is sufficient and gravel but I believe is shared. Even so, parking send abundant enough.

This is my regular spot— doesn’t get better than Retro and the good people here. Guys, can we get more meat kolaches in stock please 😅

Hidden gem in Houston!!! Great vibes, friendly staff, and some of the best coffee I’ve had in the city. The espresso was smooth, and the crepes were fresh and delicious. Loved the historic gas station setting — it adds so much character. Perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. Can’t wait to visit again!

We tried a couple of drinks from the seasonal menu- the pistachio coconut syrup iced latte and the Peachy Keen. The latte was good but a bit too sweet and on the pricey side. The Peachy Keen was light and refreshing.
Overall, it’s a nice spot, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way to visit.

I came for my first time recently and the man who took my order claimed to be the owner
but he proceeded to say his staff “didn’t deserve” a tip. as someone who works in this industry this didn’t sit right with me. i sat in the back to enjoy my flat white and overheard him begin to berate his staff in a way i just couldn’t condone. the staff was lovely and i would come more often if i knew they were being treated well.

I recently discovered this spot because it's close to my work. I've come here three times over the past several days to order coffee - this morning I decided to order a crepe. It was delicious until a few bites in, when I discovered a receipt wadded up in my crepe - which they do make in-house. Gross, and definitely not worth my money. Sad to say I won't be back.

Wonderful seating area! They do run out of most bakery and breakfast items by 10 am on Saturday. They don't do lite ice, either iced or no ice. 12 oz specialty latte is $5.36 with tax. This is a nice and expensive area though.
