I’m about 45 minutes away on the other side of Houston, and every Chinese place I’ve tried here ends up in the trash. Rice Bowl is the only spot that’s consistently fresh and delicious 😋 No MSG, no weird taste, no slimy texture, just clean, flavorful food. Fast service and a nice little gem overall. Wish they delivered, because I’d gladly pay for it!
Rice Bowl has been my hidden gem for over 15 years — consistent, delicious, and always piping hot. The chicken tastes like chicken, the beef tastes like beef (if you know, you know 😉), and there’s no weird MSG or chemical aftertaste. Parking is tight, but totally worth it. Part of me hopes it never gets too popular, because the quality has been perfect just the way it is! The dining area works for both large groups and small gatherings.
