Excellent! There are many great restaurants in Houston, but few offer truly original dishes without trying too hard. Riel finds the right balance. All dishes were original but so tasty and well presented. This is on my Houston short list. A few comments, not negative but for consideration. - The menu is relatively limited, but offset by the fact that every dish we tried (which were many) were outstanding. - Several of the dishes were pretty spicy which was perfect for my taste, but may not be for everyone. - Concerning the staff. They were efficient and courteous, but I really don't like being served by women with big rings in their noses.

Favorite caviar service in Houston. Done on a beautiful board with all the fixings. Great cocktails. Great ambiance. Excellent service. I've tried almost everything on the menu and love. The burger is bomb. Obsessed with the bone marrow. And my husband loves the cabbage rolls.

Perfect for a date night. They have something special in a Chef. His sticky toffee pudding was awesome. But what I really love is any seafood special or seasonal dish they offer.
We went for happy hour! On Thursdays they $1 east coast oysters! Small and delicious! (I don’t like a gulf coast oyster) The Wagyu tartare was amazing! We also had the mushroom empanadas- there were only 2 but they were big enough we could have split them! The food is not cheap - but so good! We had signature cocktails (during happy hour they are 1/2 price) amazing! The bartender knows what she is doing. Great service! We will definitely be back!!
If you’re a foodie and are looking for something, inventive, fun and delicious this is not the place. I feel bad because the service was wonderful the restaurant itself is cute, however, the food was bland and boring and my pork was overcooked and tough, there was nothing on the menu that was new or thoughtful, overall not a place I will be returning.

The food was alright, but the amount of food that was provided for the price was unfair in my opinion. As much as I understand fine dining, I just don't think it was "fine" enough to charge at that price point. The burgers were the most filling thing, but would prefer burger joint or other Houston burgers over what i had there. Their kimchi carbonara was tasty, but don't expect much if you're Asian and looking for actual kimchi flavor. Their hanger steak is 3 pieces of regular meat, that is way too expensive for what they offer.
