We arrived in Houston late in the afternoon with no plans, had enjoyed a late lunch with a friend on the way. We wanted a good cocktail and simple dinner, but it was Saturday night. We found Rio Ranch and thought it might work, but were nervous about crowds when we saw how full the parking lot was. It's attached to a hotel, so I guess there was an event there as the restaurant was empty when we arrived. We did enjoy a delicious cocktail in the bar, with efficient and friendly...
The service was great. The food was good. The restaurant was very quiet My only complaint is the meat was a little dry and they do not have sweet tea. Only Coke, Sprite, diet Coke and I think that's all. I was able to get ginger ale though which was good.
Tx Fries and Cowboy Taco's, it's all about brisket.
Great for a comfort food lunch.
