Recently had the pleasure of eating here, at a company function. What an amazing place, atmosphere was wonderful, service across the board was amazing and you were treated like royalty from when you walked up to when you walked out. An exceptional 5 Star establishment. I had tuna appetizer and it was great, followed up with main course of Beef Tenderloin, that was so tender you did not need a knife. And topped that off with a Hazelnut Bavaroise. 5 Star Service, 5 Star food, 5 Star flavor and overall an amzing place.

A very fancy and beautiful restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff is very attentive. When we went for dinner it was rather quiet and no one in there, but besides that everything was great. Their desert is also delicious. Great spot for a fancy romantic date night.

The restaurant is beautiful with a very romantic atmosphere love the color palette and decor. However, since is very small you can hear other guest conversations. The service could improve not really a fine dining service compared to other restaurants. No one came to unfold the napkin or clean the table promptly. I believe there was only one server present and that could explained the poor attention to detail. Food was good but not overly impressed. Good value, nice atmosphere but Houston has better options.

I went to Albas with a friend on Saturday evening. As soon as I walked in, the ambience, decor and service were outstanding - like you knew you were at a 5-star luxury establishment. Do not just expect to have dinner, Alba's offers a culinary experience with all the extras of unique tiny dishes from the kitchen just brought out to which include smoke bubbles, foam martinis, delicious soup shots as intermingled with what you ordered. The waiters are extremely professional yet friendly and even the chef made a small appearance to greet us. With his Italian accent and his crisp tailored chef attire it just exemplified the essence of what Alba is all about. Go and be very impressed for not just dining at Houston's finest restaurant but, even for frequent fine diners, the different tastes and dishes that will just “wow” you. If I could give Alba an extra bonus star for going above and beyond I definitely would!

If Micheline Guide was in Houston this would be definitely rated as one. Presentation and flavor of food are outstanding,as the service and ambiance. Great wine list also. Best of Houston

We have enjoyed our night . Food was spectacular and really nice presentations. A great treat in a fine dining restaurant. Service was good and we enjoyed the extras like the amuse bouche and the pre-desserts
Excellent fine italian cuisine in a cozy environment inside The Granduca with direct access from outside. I would have appreciated a bit more information from our servers regarding recommendations and explanations of some menu items. The food quality and presentation however, were truly first class, and I would have no hesitation ordering any of the items on the menu. Everything that came our of the kitchen looked phenomenal. Looking forward to my next visit.
This was an amazing evening. Food was divine. The dishes were a work of art, I didn't even wanted to touch/eat because they were wonderfully plated. The flavors of each dish was also spectacular. Service was superb and the live music created a good atmosphere. We went to opera night and there were singing opera during the meal. Just out of this word ! An experience that is unique here in Houston and I am glad I went. We had the pleasure to talk to the chef when he did a walk of the restaurant and glad we asked him about future cooking classes . Looking forward to come back.

I celebrated my daughter's birthday at Alba restaurant, and it was absolutely amazing and memorable. The staff were professional and inviting. They gave us more than expected and more. The food was spectacular and flavorful. The chef was engaging and friendly. We are vegan and they provided excellent vegan food. My favorite fine dining restaurant thus far in Houston. On a scale to 10 I rate Alba restaurant 11.

We had squid ink spaghetti with lobster and Barolo risotto with ossobuco which they both were divine . All the dishes are well presented and plated . Great presentation and flavors. The chef was around the dining room, he talked to us and made us feel so special. This should be a Michelin star restaurant
