We loved the location, view of the city and many options for activities. Today was our first visit to have brunch and check out the place. Our party of 4 decided we will be back! The food was a solid good to great. I had breakfast and it was just ok, from my friends plates I'd recommend the main menu. Hamburger, club and wings all got rave reviews. Our server had no personality, but he served, no check back but thankfully we didn't need anything. We are looking forward to a return so we can pickleball and golf!
We waited over an hour because they did not have enough staff and the hostess was reckless by removing us from the waiting list and for no reason. We had to remind her that we have been waiting and then she reluctantly gave us a table . We will not come back

Nice place for an outside meal or drink, so come when the weather is nice and when you're in the mood to chill and wait 20 minutes for a server to take your order, and to wait 30 minutes to get your food before you get your drinks. In fact, order your drinks at the bar, but you'll probably have to order them twice before the bartender actually makes them. (At least that is what happened to us).
You'll also never receive napkins or silverware, but thankfully you can snag some cocktail napkins from the bar while the staff is not paying any attention to you.
Food is fine. Drinks are fine.

Service is terrible. Every time we come it’s the staff standing around doing nothing while we wait for anyone to come to the table after being seated. After 15min we leave. This is the 3rd time. Not coming back until the service gets a revamp, they arent interested in working.
Could be an easy five stars but service holding it back. House margs listed at $10 on menu, I was charged $15 for each, a 150% markup. When I asked the waiter she came back with the excuse that she gave me larger ones and it was her fault because she didn't ask me what size I wanted (no sizes listed that I saw on the menu). She did me the "favor" of removing $5 from my bill, which only covered the upcharge on of my 3 drinks. Bill ended up around $64 when it should have been $50 due to this. She did the same to my friend who had already paid and told him she couldn't adjust his bill. Drinks took ages to come out, and two were seemingly forgotten. Biscuits and gravy were quite good, but a non traditional gravy, so it took some warming up to. Chilaquiles looked like some flavored chips set on a plate and topped, not actually cooked all together. I asked a hostess where the driving range was and she didn't know and told me to go to pro shop to ask. Forced upcharge was pretty frustrating, visitors beware.

The staff was excellent from start to finish. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our drink order was taken quickly as well. I had the cheeseburger and my friend had the wings. Both were tasty and were brought to us in record time! I don't think that 5 minutes passed from the time we ordered to the time we got our food. The beer and cocktail selections were excellent. You can enjoy the gorgeous views of downtown and the bayou that the restaurant offers. Make sure to take a stroll outside and sip on your drink. It's well worth it. The only drawback to the experience is that since the restaurant is an open air environment, a fair amount of flies can get in and it can be a little annoying at times. So, if bugs "bug" you, this may be an issue. Apart from that, the experience was superb and I highly recommend Riverhouse!
The golf course and venue is pretty high quality. The Sunday morning staff may need some coffee though because we did not get more than our menus after waiting for 20 minutes.

Our overall experience was great. We passed the place up since it was our first time, but a U-trun fixed that. (Look for the fire truck). We had a food hiccup, but it was addressed quickly by the staff. We celebrate my dad's birthday and he was happy and that's all that matters.
Tameya was suchhhhhhh a great host. Food came out in timely manner, made sure our table stayed clear of unwanted dishes, and hospitality was at an all time high!!!!!

Celebrated Grandparents Day with our 13 year old granddaughter. My husband and I ordered the shrimp po-boys which were large, full of shrimp and delicious. Our granddaughter ordered the chicken sandwich and she loved it. The french fries are addictive!! Everyone was welcoming, attentive and very customer focused. We were so impressed with everything and everyone that not only did we add a few extra $$ to the tip, I am considering having my 75th birthday celebration here.

What a beautiful spot! The view and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. There’s a jumbo screen for the sports fans, plenty of space for the kids to roam and games for everyone. Golf and pickleball is a plus. The live music was perfect with the Houston skyline in the background. We loved it and we will be back. Thanks to Tameya for excellent service tonight ??
