A great place to sit,relax, and enjoy outdoors. You can sit and watch the golfers play their rounds, watch the big screen outside, listen to live music, play the outdoor games, or just chat with friends or family. Perfect view of the skyline of Houston.
The only con is the food can be hit or miss it times.

First time at the restaurant and I got very sick, on my way back to the office. Even my coworker got sick as well. I spent $27 w/tip, and ended up going to Walgreens at 8pm to make this awfulness STOP! The food is not fresh there. We will not be returning. I wish I had checked the reviews prior to visiting River House. Oh well, lesson learned!

I had such a good experience at Riverhouse Houston. There’s a kid who works there hazel eyes, braids and even though he wasn’t our server, he kept checking on us and made sure our table stayed clean. He was super quick, really polite, and just gave off great energy. Honestly, little things like that make you want to come back. I’ll definitely be returning, and if I could have him as my server every time, I would. Riverhouse has some great people working there.

I came to Riverhouse Houston for the Bluebonnet concert I think that’s the name of the event that was going on and the place was hectic — packed, loud, and super busy. Even with all the chaos, our server Tommy handled everything flawlessly. He communicated wait times clearly, checked on us consistently, and kept the whole experience smooth when it easily could’ve gone left.
Since that night, I’ve been back five more times and I always ask for Tommy. He’s one of those servers who genuinely makes the place better — attentive, professional, and just overall great energy. Riverhouse needs more like him. As long as he’s here, I’ll keep coming back.
Food was fine (when it finally came) except they served flour tortillas to one of our party that was emphatic with the waitress that she could not eat flour due to health complications. She ate part of one and is having health reactions becaus of it.
Everyone makes mistakes, but the manager was not helpful at all when we brought this to his attention. He was dismissive and then he and the waitress have completely disappeared. We are sitting here waiting for our check .......

Absolutely terrible experience! My friend, who is allergic to gluten, discussed with the waiter in depth about their allergy and asked what they are able to eat. My friend ordered corn tortillas but they gave her flour tortilla without her knowing. She ultimately ate the flour tortillas and had an allergic reaction. The manager was not accommodating at all and did not provide any solutions. He was a little rude to be frank. It also took over an hour to get our food so that sucked too. I do not recommend this place at all.
