Favorite coffee shop in Houston to work at. Don’t let the size fool you, they have a lotttt of space for everyone to work and not feel crowded. Food is delicious. People are Awesome.

I found roast & brew looking for a late night cafe so I could get some work done. It had the perfect calm ambiance and a wide variety of menu options and drinks. The was indoor and outdoor seating and it was spacious enough to where I didn’t feel cramped, even though there were a good amount of people there. I’m looking forward to more late night study sessions at roast & brew!

Breakfast wasn’t great. The over easy eggs were cooked through, the breakfast hashbrowns were breakfast potatoes and not cooked all the way through.
It’s dark. Probably good for an afternoon study or work environment, but not great breakfast vibes.

Croissant breakfast sandwich was SO yummy! Staff is super friendly and helpful and the coffee was great! Not very loud and has a relaxing atmosphere. Would give more stars if I could!

Cool vibes and best cream cheese for your bagel! I’ve been coming here for two years now and something has changed between the coffee and service in the last few months which is why I can’t give a 5 star ⭐️ anymore. This is the 3rd time I’ve been disappointed ( my friends also but they can do their own review) The first free times is the taste is off on the drinks and I hate sending things back and the service is just not there like it use to be. Today especially, I asked for bagel double toasted and toast with butter. I received bagel double toasted , frozen butter on the side no cream cheese. Long story short I was told they can’t toast and butter the bagel. I advised the cashier who took the order so she doesn’t make the same mistake with the next customer- no apology provided .

Been here twice. I enjoyed the cheese danish they had. I would recommend this place, but the parking is a bit tricky sometimes. I think overall, it is a good place to swing by for some coffee with your friends or family

UNCOMFORTABLYY HOT INSIDE. It was 65 degrees outside, but if I had to guess, it was about 77 degrees inside. Maybe that's because it was busy and all the body heat or maybe they had the heaters on lol. Other than that, this is a nice coffee shop with good service and is good for studying and working. Coffee is decent, and they have a nice selection of beers. The food is like dorm food though. Had a margarita flatbread and it felt and tasted like it was microwaved. Had the same texture and taste as bagel bites.

Limited menu, but the coffee was great. Great atmosphere for quiet conversation and computer work.
Love the locally roasted coffee and freshly made food items. They use 1883 syrups (the best around). The baked goods were tasty too. Great space inside to hang out and they also sell beer and spirits there too.

Great iced white mocha. They use the Ghiradelli white chocolate powder. Having lived in Seattle (best coffee drinks in the world) I'm telling you all coffee shops should use this for their white chocolate! Great place Great staff.

I would have given 5 stars. But my only complaint, which I might not even have the right to make, was an employee smoking out on the covered patio.
While that is the designated area for smoking, the reason I came out here was to enjoy the absolutely perfect weather today and fresh air. To have cigarette smoke in the air just wasn't pleasant. Had it been just a regular guest I would just have judged them for still smoking cigarettes (instead of vaping) and moved inside. But since it was an employee I just felt that maybe they should have gone somewhere else.
I feel bad to make this observation as I know he felt he was doing the right thing. I work in the industry and I remember when the smoking indoor ban went into effect and how weird that seemed. Now it just seems weird to see anybody still smoking cigarettes.
A special compliment to the staff and the gentleman who served me the Nitro Cold Brew I drank. This place is still absolutely wonderful when I need to work remotely.

I came here with a friend while cafe hopping and got the rose hibiscus tea. My friend got an iced lavender matcha, and we found it to be overly sweet and lacking in matcha flavor. I enjoyed my tea, but I think it was slightly expensive for just tea. Overall, the vibe is most suited for people that want to work.
