Below average soft serve. The place is not well taken care off, dust everywhere and stickers for flavors falling down. Taste is better at McDonald's. No flavor options, two sherbet and two other chocolate and vanila. Very very very expensive not worth it. Low quality cone also, no fresh made waffle. Go to flower and cream instead of wasting money here.

I really appreciate the company's commitment to hiring people with disabilities. That's the main reason I'm giving three stars instead of one. However, the chocolate gelato didn't taste like authentic gelato to me. Its texture was more like a mix between frozen yogurt and mousse. I added toppings because they were enforced, but those reinforced the yogurt experience.

my kids and I like this ice cream but the staff are not friendly. even though they say you can choose as many as topping you want, they give you the attitude that you hesitate to get more than 1 topping. another thing is that i ordered cone and the rude lady went and put the ice cream in a cup. when i reached to her to pick the topping, she already put the ice cream in the cup. when i told her i ordered a cone, she put in trash but with a rude attitude. this cause the business suffers. i like the ice cream though.

Do not get the Ice cream sandwich! It is literally bread and a little bit of ice cream inside! Bread is too thick and not fresh, and when they toast it, it doesn’t look like the picture at all! Wasted $12!!
Rocambolesc is such a beautiful gelato spot! They have a great variety of fun and unique toppings, and the mango flavor was absolutely delicious. I really love this place — the prices are fair, and the overall experience is great. Definitely a sweet stop worth visiting!

I’ve lived in Europe for many years, and what this place serves is not gelato. They basically serve soft serve ice cream (slightly better than McDonalds) in an upscale cafe with over the top, inflated prices. Their ice cream didn’t taste bad, but it’s the same soft serve you get all over Houston. I guess it’s easy to fool people who have never had real gelato. I particularly didn’t appreciate the rude attitude of the cashier and the ice cream servers. We are never going here again. Not recommended!

Place is sketchy. Ice cream comes out of a machine like frozen yogurt and they call it gelato. Service sucks too and it’s strangely quiet and awkward in there. Floors and countertops are dirty.
