Only wish we had taken advantage of the outdoor seating, as it was a beautiful day!We tried the rockfish sampler. Volcano shrimp, jalapeño fritters and spinach artichoke dip. Everything was great!I ordered the redfish étouffée at the recommendation of our server. It was fantastic. Edges of the redfish nice and crisp. The shrimp was delicious. Although I have never actually tried grits before today, the jalapeño grits were delicious. Great consistency and complimented the redfish well.My daughter had the surf and turf and cleaned her plate. She said everything was great and she is looking forward to a return visit.Failed to take pics but presentation was on point.

We were celebrating a 90th birthday party with a party of 22 people. The restaurant was very accommodating with seating and putting us at a long table. My husband had the seafood platter and it was extremely good. I had the cajun redfish with the sauce on the side because I like to control the spice. We also got a flight of margaritas. We enjoyed the food and the service was good and the food actually came out faster than expected for such a large party

We went as a family group of 8. They kept getting food wrong, then sat a party next to us that were very loud and obnoxious, we waited for a long time for food, and drinks, then waited even longer to get our check. It was a nightmare. This used to be a favorite of my husband's but it's officially off our list. Not going back.Vegetarian options: My mother is vegetarian... she had 2 sides. One had to be modified to be able to eat it. If you are vegetarian, don't bother coming here.
On a whim ordered long distance delivery doordash because I was craving fish & chips and this place seemed to have what I was looking for and boy was I right!! The coating on the fish was so crispy and light and the fish itself meaty and flaky. The slaw was perfectly spiced with freshly cut veggies and also very light and refreshing. I wish I lived closer so I could eat this food more often but will definitely not hesitate to order delivery again when craving some delicious seafood!

So...it was my first time ever going to Rockfish.I only went because they were advertising a crab and shrimp special on Facebook. However, when we got there I came to realize that the advertised special was only offering a little over $1 off. What a waste of gas.Our server, Julia, started out great. We were greeted and received drinks. Then we were forgotten about. Literally. She started taking care of other tables that were more of a "priority", I suppose. So, after 20mins of not being able to place a food order, I approached the hostess asking for another server."T" was great, attentive, and hospitable.The food.... ?I ordered the Trio, which comes with etouffee, red beans and rice, catfish, and shrimp & grits. The shrimp & grits were great. The red beans tastes like Popeyes. The fish had too much Italian seasoning or something. The etouffee was plain old BAD. It tasted like Play-Doh.I told "T" that the food tasted pretty freezer burned, and not fresh at all.My son had the Cajun Pasta. I tried it. It was delicious.So...if we return, I'll try the Cajun Pasta instead of anything else. The "if" is big, though.
