The staff here are very nice and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. I ordered [sliced bbq with 2 sides macaroni & mashed potatoes], my husband had the loaded potato and everything was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Overall, the food was on point, and the great service made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We came for lunch this past Sunday, expecting a meal of juicy brisket and tender ribs. What we got was tough, dry slabs of what could only be described as rewarmed leftover meat from the day before. Sauce was needed to actually be able to swallow it. The ribs had such a heavy coating of pepper, the taste of the meat itself was obliterated. As expensive as meat is, we left feeling disappointed and cheated. The only saving grace to our lunch date was going to House of Pies next door!

A rare and awesome place to get good BBQ and all the fixings, one of the only southern bbq restaurants that serve boudin and pork belly. The food is very good, professionally prepared and served really quick. try to get here around noon, more options and quantity!

I ordered the 3 meat special with brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage, and ribs with two orders of mac and cheese for the sides.
The meat was just perfect, tender and flavorful and was complimented by the spicy barbecue sauce they offer.
The Mac and cheese had a unique flavor for me on the first bite, not in a bad way, it just wasn't what I was expecting. None the less, it was my favorite part of the meal. I mixed some barbecue sauce in there and it just made it better.
I went around 2, an hour before they closed, and there was no line. I walked out of there fed and satisfied 30 mins later.
Highly recommend this place.

DE-licious! We're visitors to the Houston area, and I admit that we were tempted to some of the YouTube hyped BBQ establishments -- but when we saw the lines around the corner, we figured that wasn't really the place for us. We wanted something less hyped, more authentic, and a little more genuine. We found it here! The sausage and the brisket will melt in your mouth, the sides are tasty -- and the banana pudding? Don't leave Roegels without it!

Consistently delicious brisket, sides and desserts. Staff always attentive, courteous and straightforward. Self-serve condiments and extras are abundantly stocked. Cleanliness and orderliness are obviously priorities, as the Voss location is impeccably maintained. Very well managed.

We had an incredible experience at Roegels BBQ in Houston! From start to finish, everything we ordered was top-notch. The brisket was tender and flavorful, the sausage had the perfect snap and seasoning, and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious. My husband said the smoked chicken was the best he's ever had at any BBQ joint — juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of smoky goodness.
But the real surprise? The collard greens! Hands down the best we’ve ever tasted in a restaurant. Perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of tang and spice.
If you're in Houston and love good BBQ, you have to try Roegels. We can’t recommend it highly enough!
Incredible! No notes (which is good coming from a Texan) The brisket here is my #1 favorite and it hasn’t been beat. The sides are delicious, baked potato always steamy warm and fresh. The staff is so kind and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The charr is flavorful and delicious. And every time I go the brisket is always moist. Their other location in Katy is yummy too, but the decor in here is much better, if you’re going for the Texan look.

There are many hot new BBQ spots that are now open or will open up in the future but Roegels will always be the one that will provide a solid experience from a great staff to the amazing brisket, pork and beef ribs, their infamous Reuben and the many sides that compliment the meal!
