Discovered Roegels in Katy a month ago. Planning to meet a good friend soon at the Voss Rd location. I knew Russell Roegel years ago when I worked in the Galleria area. Loved his food when it was Bakers Ribs and he has done it again but much better with his own restaurant at that same inner city location. I love love it and you will too. Support this American Veteran and try his BBQ. You will go back for more.

The place to go for typical Texas style BBQ....I loved the brisket, so tender, and the ribs were spectecular. The owner is a really friendly guy, gave me some of the sausages to try, and they are also excellent, and I can judge as I am German who loves to eat Bratwurst.....Greetings to the owner,

Why not change your hours to 2pm since you do not accept patrons after this timeYeah I've called twice, different days, to place an order and was told no we are no longer placing orders for today. But yeah sure wtv there are better places to go to from reading the other reviews, I haven't missed anything. Thanks for the reply tho!

The fat cap on the brisket was a little bit more than I prefer but the brisket itself was incredibly tender and flavorful. But the real shining star has always been the sausage. Whether it is the jalapeno cheddar or the hatch chili pepper jack cheese sausage, the sausages are beyond phenomenal. I seek this restaurant out every time I come to Houston

Liked the bun they used on the sandwich.The Texas two step sandwich was a 8/10, was messy but as to be expected. I wasn’t in love with the BBQ sauce. Mac and cheese left more to be desired, I feel like it was too chewy but the flavor was good. Pricing was very fair as well. Service was a little rigid but not in a unwelcoming or unkind way. Parking seems like it would be a pain if you came at a peak time.

Awesome moist brisket!! Got a 2 meat plate, with that and smoked sausage with cheese in it, sausage was good but I loved the moist brisket had to get another 1/4 pound! Loved the atmosphere and being veteran owned!!
