The food was amazing! The burger and chicken were the best I have ever eaten. The server was so thoughtful and kind and attentive. A real diamond!

Eaten here previously and had good experiences in this neighborhood restaurant. Rated poorly this time due to: 1. Waiter didn't write down the order and of course it was incorrect...both times. Second shot at the appetizer was close enough since they were so slow. 2. After getting appetizer, it took another hour to get the main course. Ticket ‘lost'. 3. Waiters didn't stop by table unless he was flagged down. Ran out of drinks and water three times. Didn't have any feedback on delay. 4. My main course (duck) was inedible since it was so severely undercooked. The other items on the plate did not taste good either. My wife did eat her room temperature burger but the fries were not warm and tasted like they had been sitting out awhile.

This is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Casual, great food, great service. Very small and quiet enough that you can actually hold a conversation! The food is reliably excellent. Only thing that is a little wanting - I wish they had more cocktails and wines available. It really offers great value.

Service was great. Food is always fabulous and it has such a nice laid back vibe. Love this place!

Beautiful restaurant, excellent ambiance, and very good food. Don’t label roost a “neighborhood spot” because it’s a lot more than that. The remodel looks really nice, very tasteful. The seats are actually well padded and not some hard wood nonsense like a lot of high end restaurants that just want to turn tables. The temperature is very comfortable, not too cold not too hot. The music is incredible - you’re going to hear songs you long forgot about it that span classic hip hop to r&b. The food is excellent and the service is great. At the same time, this is a very approachable menu with multiple items you’ll want to try. I loved it.

The pasta had more water than cheese, genuinely a first! No one greets you when you walk in, service sucked through the whole meal.

Been going to the Roost for years now. One of my favorite restaurants in the city. Laid back place that takes pride in their menu and their food. Went for my anniversary and the lamb shank paired with a Bordeaux was phenomenal. My wife is pescatarian and loves how may options there are every time.

Overall, it was a good experience. When we first walked in, it took a little while to be greeted. We were told to sit wherever we liked, which was fine, but it took about 10–15 minutes for a server to come by. After being seated, we ordered the bread service, which took about 20 minutes to arrive. We tried the Jalapeño Burger and the Tandoori Octopus. The burger had good flavor but was overcooked, and both the tandoori and the tater tots were quite salty. The margaritas, however, were delicious. I would return, but the food wasn’t quite what I expected.
