Working in the fast food industry, I understand that things happen that are out of our control. This incident in particular could have been prevented if staff had done their due diligence. I ordered a Chicken Fried Chicken Mashed Potatoes and Mac N'Cheese. Waited 30 mins and never got my meal. I called the store to speak with the manager and a young lady named Kayla or Carla answered and gave me attitude!! She told me I couldn't speak to a manager unless I gave her my name and told her who I was. Ma'am you didn't ask for my name when I placed my order and imSure you wouldn't have asked for my name if I had paid for my meal. This is an embarrassment to the food industry. This is an embarrassment to Willie's corporationAnd she's an embarrassment to her family with that nasty mouth of hers

Great service, thank you Brooke S
I decided to try this place on a whim while scrolling through the Uber eats app. I had never heard of them before, so I did a google search and discovered this is a ghost kitchen inside Willie’s ice house restaurants. What drew me in was that the wings are brined for 12 hrs in Shiner Bock. Reasonably priced, you get a 10 piece wing combo with fries and a drink. I opted for the Buffalo bayou flavor, and the lemon pepper. The wings were pretty small, and a bit too salty. The buffalo sauce didn’t really taste like buffalo sauce. I will say, there was a large portion of fries, more than enough for one person. The food was hot and seemed fresh, and the blue cheese was awesome! Overall, the wings were just OK. I still prefer BWW or Wingstop to cure my craving for wings!
It started when we walked in the door. Harold took our order asking all the right questions We ordered the catfish and shrimp combo, the brisket tacos and chapana Food was delivered quickly and it was still ho. our waitress was prompt and offered good service.
We go to Willie's quite often. We enjoy the variety of their menu. Everything comes out quick and hot. We go so often that we have a favorite waiter!! Trevor... he does a FANTASTIC job. He checks in often to see if everything is good. You can give him 10 things that we all need at once and he gets ALL of them to us in a timely manner. He's very professional. He's a relief to have when you only have an hour for lunch!! Ask for Trevor... he WILL take care of you!!!
"MY BABY NEEDED A NIGHT OUT" Yesterday my Lovely Wonderful Wife was not feeling 100%, not sick - just exhausted and worn out - So - later on the day she stated that she was not going to fix Dinner and wanted to go out. I'm not one to argue - So - we went out to eat with some Friends, Earl & Mary Ann, who are having their home renovated and I know they are not going to cook their Dinner in a Hotel room. They are staying near "Willies Grill & Icehouse" on 249 and that's where we decided to meet up. We arrived at the scheduled time, ordered our Large Frozen Strawberry/Lime Swirl Margaritas and walked around Willie's trying to find them - Willie's is packed with customers - we spotted them at a table on the Patio. We didn't order an food as yet and either did our Friends - we just wanted to enjoy those Margaritas and chat for awhile before ordering food. Our Server is Teanna and she brought over some Menus for us to look over when it was time to order. My Wife decided to have their "Chicken Tenders"; (Garlic Parmesan) Hand Breaded To Order served with French Fries. I am going with the "Icehouse Willie"; 1/2 pound Burger topped with Mayo, Mustard, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickle & Onions with Swiss Cheese (choice), BACON & Mushrooms. Served with Onion Rings (choice). Mary Ann ordered the "Icehouse Cobb"; Spring Mix - Iceberg & Romaine Lettuce tossed in Ranch and topped with Grilled Chicken (choice), BACON, Street Corn, Diced Egg, Cherry Tomatoes, Gorgonzola Crumbles & a Creamy Chipotle Sauce. Earl is having the "Texas Fried Chicken Club"; Crispy Fried Chicken Breast with Roasted Pepper Cheese mix, topped with Crispy BACON, Lettuce, Tomato on Texas Toast with Roasted Jalapeno Mayo. Served with French Fries. Food is ordered and we also ordered another round of Drinks. We have not been to this Willies (249) for some time now, we usually gather at the one in Spring (99). All the Willies have Cool Decor to make each one just a little different than the next - but they all have those Frozen Margaritas and Cold Beer to enjoy - and we like to 'Enjoy'. Even as crowded as Willie's is our Food came out pretty fast. First of all - that 'Icehouse Cobb' Salad looks Delicious and it is HUGE with lots of Grilled Chicken Strips on top. Earls 'Texas Fried Chicken Club' makes your mouth water just a little. I've had that before and it is Really Tastylicious Stuff with Heat. My 'Icehouse Willie' is overflowing with all that Deliciousness stuffed on that 1/2 Pounder. My Wife's 'Chicken Tenders' does not look like they were 'Tossed' in Garlic Parmesan but there is a Large Container of it on the side. Turns out you have to ask for it to be 'Tossed' and she neglected to do that - but it's an easy fix, just Pour that Stuff all over the Tenders and 'You're Having It Your Way' - close enough. My Wife said her Chicken Tenders were just that, Tender and Very Tasty, ate enough to be full and took the rest home for tomorrow. The French Fries were really good, especially dipping them in the Ranch. My 'Icehouse Burger' was absolutely the Best Icehouse Burger I have ever had at this location. They Really Piled On Those Mushrooms and they kept dropping on my plate as I enjoyed this Monster of a Burger. It Was Delicious right to the last bite. Those Onion Rings are HUGE and Golden Brown Crunchiness. Love Their Onion Rings. I ate all of mine and some of my Wife's French Fries. Mary Ann Loved her Salad and the Perfectly Grilled Chicken Strips. Earl Raved about his 'Texas Fried Chicken Club' and said it really packed in the Heat - Very Tasty. After we finished eating all this Deliciousness we enjoyed the rest of our drinks, chatted some more and Loving the Outdoors on another Beautiful Texas Evening. Willie's Frozen Margaritas are Really Good and it's 'Happy Hour All Day Every Day' for these Margaritas - such a deal.
