Rosewater in Clear Lake is well known for the originality of its fine cocktails and has an excellent, well deserved reputation. The food is also outstanding as management continues to add to the menu. Tonight I ordered a smash-burger and it never fails to deliver. The staff was their pleasant, obliging selves and always seem to want to make you feel welcomed. The expansion of the bar adds needed space & offers a third choice in seating. It seems being accommodating to patrons is Rosewater's over riding theme.

Service and atmosphere are great. Drinks are worth what you pay. It was my first time ordering food and let me tell you the burgers are really good. I always order the charcuterie board and I was a little bummed that now you can’t pick your meat and cheese but after trying it I was back to being a happy camper. Hit this place up if you like bars where you can have a conversation.

Super cute atmosphere for a nice quiet night with the misses while you snack on a charcuterie board over a glass of wine. My wife and I love this place and enjoy the cozy feel we get when entering the establishment. We have been a number of times and continue to support this business!

This place is phenomenal. I’m a scotch guy but every cocktail I’ve had here is amazing. The owner is a mad scientist when it comes to flavor. Even their food menu items are great. The Greek burger was one, if not THE best burger I’ve ever had. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We ordered drinks and an app which were good but then towards the middle of our visit it seemed like our server ignored us. We wanted to order more food and drinks but they never came back, and I politely made eye contact a few times. Finally another server came to our table to check on us after we finished our drinks and were just sitting there. We paid and left.

Rosewater is such a great cocktail bar in clear lake. The service is so quick for such quality drinks. They have a beautiful patio that you're able to sit in and lounge. The drinks are phenomenal. I wish I could remember the name of my drink, but it has shishito pepper extract and goodness. It's an excellent, top notch drink. I love this place so much.

Great place to chill and relax. Not a place to come and go quickly.Cocktail options are crazy good! A couple beers offered as well. Not much in terms of food but what they do offer is done very nicely.

I had been told about this establishment quite some time ago, had time on my hands and was looking for something to eat and drink and stopped in quite casually on a Sunday evening which is not quite the apex of dining experience but I suspect was an serendipitous opportunity for me to find a bar stool and some immediate attention for what was a perfectly wonderful experience. Let me start by referring to the picture of a perfectly prepared cocktail from yesteryear (which is where I am from) and if representative of all cocktails is reason not to miss this experience. As well I partook of a spicy Hummus appetizer which was very enjoyable, tasty and served with Pita, fresh carrots and cucumber which in my opinion having been raised on Mediterranean dishes, is something that someone either considering or familiar with such faire, should not miss. The ambiance is quite lovely and on this particular evening included some 1960's, plenty of 1970's and 1980's music which was a perfect pairing to both the service, drinks and food. I won't wait for as return visit. PS a rapscallion BTW...if you are a scotch drinker should not be missed especially from this establishment.

Excellent cocktail spot with rotating menu (and some solid, standard full-time options). The menu is helpful is describing unfamiliar drinks as well. Certainly helpful if you're on the edge about something new. New food menu options are delicious as well. All in all, a good experience every time we go.

The vibe and ambiance here is lovely. The cocktail menu is a lot. I always have issues making a decision here. I think it's a little bit over priced but the drinks are lovely. I need to remember that I do not like the Mai Tai but I love the Amateur Pornstar.

I have been here multiple times and never had a complaint, but I was saddened to see that the Trixie was gone. When asking the bartender (not Emily she was super nice, my bartender didn't say her name, had lots of tattoos and green/blue hair framing her face) she said it was too expensive for them to buy the mix anymore. So I asked if it would be considered "off menu" in terms of pricing and her response was "Well it is off the menu so.." that was not what I expected as I wasn't trying to be rude and there was no pricing for it as it's no longer on the menu. Then we ordered the fries and I simply asked if the garlic aioli had mayo to which she responded with "So an aioli means how they prepare it and it's like how they prepare a mayo" but in a very pretentious tone. I understand if you have a bad day or a bad shift, but I don't think that needs to reflect on how your customers receive their level of service. We did not appreciate the dictionary response to Aioli or the entire experience with the bartender. We also heard her speaking that way to other people when asking if they have to pay their bar tab at the bar if they are being seated and got a response of "No, they're combined, just like every other restaurant" seemed way too rude for such a short interaction. Do not think we'll be back for a while if that level of service is how we will be treated...

I love a good craft cocktail. And you'll see it done at a high level at Rosewater. Located in a shopping center, parking won't be an issue. I stopped by on a Saturday evening and there was a 45-minute wait for a table. While they do have a nice patio, it was freezing so not a lot of people wanted to be out in the wild despite the heaters. We made things work. What initially stood out to me about Rosewater was the creativity of the cocktails. You'll see unique combinations and liquors you've never heard of. I tried four cocktails and they all were delicious. Including one that had mead which isn't something you see every day. While they do have food, I didn't have any so I can't comment on that. Service was friendly. If you're looking for some quality cocktails in the burbs, definitely check out Rosewater.

Best cocktails in the area, hands down. One of the best cocktail bars in the entire Houston area, tucked into a strip center in the burbs. New space and menu are great.Kid-friendliness: Not a place for kids - maybe on the patio in the daylight, but it's a cocktail bar.

***Update***Much better experience yesterday! Pasha was kind enough to make a reservation for us and a couple of friends to encourage us to return. Things were much better this time around. Staff were great and the drinks were as fantastic as we remember. Thank you for a fun night!I cannot say enough good things about the drinks themselves. Rosewater has a fantastic menu. Up until yesterday evening, we have always had great interaction with staff as well.Unfortunately, our most recent experience was awful and has us searching for a new spot for drinks with friends. We arrived during happy hour on Friday. Rosewater is a popular spot, so we anticipated a wait. We were excited about the new, expanded space. When we arrived we were offered the only available seats indoors which were at a counter in the corner facing the wall. We accepted, grateful to be seated right away. Again, with it being a Friday, we anticipated that the staff might be busy and we would wait a little longer for our libations. I can’t tell you how the drinks were that evening as we never had the chance to order. My husband and I waited for nearly twenty minutes. The spots next to us were wiped down by several different staff members while we waited-not a single person acknowledged us. When we decided to depart, I went to hand the hostess our menus. She simply took them without a word. We were so very disappointed and would be wary of returning.
