Rosie Rosie Rosie, I am in love with this place. And it’s on Westhheimer. My favorite bartender is Eric , somehow he knows exactly what to make me every time. He makes the place worth while. I didn’t even notice when my pizza took forever to make , but that because it’s wood fired and cooked to perfection. I want to be here every night.

I’ve been coming to Rosie’s for over a year now and the service and food has NEVER disappointed. I find myself craving the cacio pepe pizza at least 3 times a week. You cannot go wrong with it. I also routinely have the Irish coffee, which is the best one I have ever had. Erick is the best bartender and always gives great pairing options and personal recommendations. While they have so many people come through their doors in a week, I always feel at home here. I wish I could say I was joking but Rosie’s cannonball is the best place in Houston.

One of the best in Houston. Excellent food, great vibes, impeccable service. Vegetables cooked on live fire, wood fired pizzas, great pastas, excellent wine list.

Came here for my birthday and was really excited for the experience! We had reservations. Upon arrival, we were a little early and the hostess said to go next door to the cheese bar. Went there for about 10 minutes and returned. When we got back, they had given our table away. They said to wait outside (this was during the summer and it was over 100 out). We waited for almost an hour! We did get a free appetizer from it but the damage was done for me. Had it not been for the service we received once inside and the fantastic food, I would be giving one star less. Hopefully this isn’t a regular practice. Would return!

Had the most amazing time with my wife and daughter. The food was exquisite and the waiter, Jared, was outstanding. Will definitely return again for another delicious, fun dinner.

Very disappointed with the level of professionalism displayed by their GM Lauren. Food was mid. Service was mid. If I could give them a negative rating I would

Nut allergy friendly: Everything we ordered was A-OK!
Note that this review is solely for their 9-10PM Reverse Happy Hour. I don't think I'd come back if it didn't exist.
Parking: Valet, neighborhood is hard to find any. We parked near Cherryhurst Park, a five minute walk.
We had a 9:15PM reservation for 5, arrived at 9:25PM, and were seated around 9:35PM.
Service was overall lovely with a starting complimentary sparkling rose and our water kept topped off even as the restaurant neared closing. The only issue was that the lights kept going out in our section for some reason. That was annoying but not detrimental to the experience as we had candles.
It took a solid 10 minutes or so for someone to take our order but once they did, pizzas came out pretty quickly. (About 10 minutes after ordering). In fact, the Pepperoni pizza came even before our drinks did.
For five people, we ordered:
Pepperoni Pizza (4.5/5): Loaded with freshly cut pepperoni. Great classic take.
Kale Pizza (5/5): I love their take on this. The blue cheese overpowers any honey, but compliments the kale very nicely.
Cacio e Pepe (4.5/5): Like eating cheese pasta on bread. It blended the flavors very well.
Roasted Cauliflower (4/5): Pretty expensive for what it is, but they were delicious and easily shared to where everyone got 3-4 pieces each.
My drink (Mezzo) was nice, a good rye cocktail. Their signature cocktails were all quite unique.
We all agreed that if they put the Kale on the Pepperoni Pizza it'd be an immediate 5/5.
Paid via inKind with no issues.
Overall, phenomenal happy hour value, reservation recommended because it was packed on a Saturday night.

Update: We went back to give it another try and it was FANTASTIC! So much so we take our out of town guest here. The green bean salad is amazing, trust me don’t miss out on this one. The focaccia di Rocco is wonderful too. If you’re sharing a full meal add the chicken basquaise, it is a perfect share meal, three of us shared it and we walked away with stuff still on the plate. Bar staff is friendly as well. For special treat eat at the chefs table.
