Smells like mothballs and taste like it

FOOD POISONING!! PAINFUL!!!! DO NOT ORDER!!!
I ordered from here through door dash and the food was honestly subpar. The soup was overly spicy for no reason and the jollof tastes so bland and it wasn’t even Smokey. I wake up the next morning with horrible stomach cramps and nausea. Safe to say I will never order here again.

They used to have the best suya but became reckless. The last time I ordered suya 06/10/25 it was stale, dried and was going bad. They practically have lost their conscience

The fish I received was ridiculously small and quite disappointing. It always seems to happen when I order online, but not when I order in person. I called the restaurant, and the person I spoke to was somewhat polite. He mentioned that he followed the instructions given, stating that they have either very small or large portions available. This doesn’t make sense to me because I paid the same regular price and received a fish that was absurdly small. They need to do better! Normally, I don’t complain because I’m not really a foodie, but this is just too small!

Dry, old, and cold Suya. When I called to tell them about it, she told me she cooked everything today and I let her know was it earlier today because this food is cold she told me to come bring it back to her and she’ll replace it but the whole reason for me ordering DoorDash is so I wouldn’t have to drive there and back which is a 52 min drive collectively, overall horrible customer service and plus they’re serving old and cold food and I told her the meat was hard as well. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

I used to go to this restaurant all the time and there was this guy. He was very nice there darker complexion so now they have this lighter skin man there African man and he’s very rude and this is the third time me coming into Royal point and him serving me and he’s always rude. He don’t speak. He don’t listen at what you say. He’ll walk off from you. I bought Suya and it taste literally like water so you know it doesn’t taste like anything. It taste as if the meat has been boiled and the onions they used to use. They use just normal white onions now which does not have a flavor so the food is no longer worth buying it in my opinion with my money definitely when it comes to African food because you buy their food for the taste and most of the time their food is seasoned.

DRY, HARD SUYA! Stale and not fresh. So hard that it cuts the styrofoam container! Can’t even bite it! Definitely reheated from previous days. Don’t waste your time. Bragged to my moon that she would enjoy, she couldn’t even chew the meat… Been coming here for years, Suya was the best, today terrible. Whenever the owner is not around, the results will show. Called to provide feedback, the attendant, actually shouted at me… soo unfortunate. This is a place that catered our son’s first birthday, we shared laughs with the owner, she has really tried. The staff has watch it soon grow. A poor food experience is one thing, a poor experience by a staff member has ensured that I will not spend my money here again!

We ordered 2 grilled fish. When it arrived they sent us some dried out old fish then when you call them about it they have a bad attitude. We will never go here again. Nobody is paying for something they can’t even eat just pathetic excuse for a business. Don’t waste your time going here

Ordered the fufu and okra soup it was good but very spicy. The suya was very delicious but the man at the counter demanded a tip on a to go order

Got a certificate from restaurant.com, they didn't honor it and couldn't remember making an account with them. Didn't want the business or anything.

Place was dirty, religious TV station on full blast, and just walked away. Couldn't tell who worked there. Never coming back, since I drove 20 mins to just go here.

My friend and I tried this restaurant on Labor Day, and it was a mixed experience. The place was empty, and the service was pretty much non-existent—we had to grab our own menus and seat ourselves. When the server finally came over, he just stood there until I asked if he was going to take our order.

We waited an hour for our food to come out, which was frustrating, but at least it was delicious when it finally arrived. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was lacking, and the restaurant felt dirty, broken and unorganized. The bench I was sitting on wasn’t even attached properly, so it moved when I got up.

Overall, great food, but the service, wait time, and cleanliness need serious work. Not sure I’d rush back.
