I usually love ruchi’s. It was my first time at this location and the manager tried to scam me. I came with a group of 12. When paying i put my card down but it didnt come with an itemized receipt. I asked for it after my card was swiped and i tipped 20%. When i got the itemized i saw it was auto grated 18%, meaning i tipped 18% + 20% of that total. I went up and told the manager i didnt realize since the itemized wasnt dropped off in the first place and that if he changed the tip, i would tip the difference to make it 20%. He refused saying it cant be changed. I told him im a waitress and i know it can. He still refused and i went back to my seat. After a couple mins i was angry and went back up. Now he finally allowed me to change the tip but bc he refused prior (when i offered to tip the difference to make it 20% from the auto grat 18%) i tipped 0. He then goes “oh so no tip?” Ya no shit

The meat was so chewy it like bubble gum in your mouth, you can’t swallow. Plus I ordered chicken quesadilla that didn’t get nether was the whole right. I ordered several different tacos never received nether did I get my chicken quesadilla. Uber Eats refused to refund me therefore I just completely lost $35. Thinking hard about deleting Uber Eats because they have done this several times refusing to refund.

They scam you. Double charge and if you don’t pay attention to the menu price they will charge you extra at the cashier. Receipt doesn’t show what was ordered.

I’ve been here twice, and both times the same hostess has messed up our ticket and charged my group for a separate tab that had already been paid for. It also doesn’t help that the receipt doesn’t list what you paid for or show the exact price of each item.

Old school been at that location for years. I picked up an order and the place smelled like a sewer line or something was busted or leaking Overall they have good service so no complaints in that area always on time and the wait is minimum unless it's a very large order.

While visiting Houston this restaurant was recommended. I checked out some reviews and pictures online and thought it would be good food... WRONG, I should've known something when I walked in there was like 2 other tables with customers. The staff looked bored or over it. We ordered street corn, nachos, and chicken quesadillas. The street was boiled with sour mayo on it, the quesadilla was full of grease as well as the nachos full of grease, chips soggy. When I asked for a manager the waitress advised he wasn't there. She stated the grease came from the cheese, understandably but you shouldn't serve this to anyone. I can clearly see why the restaurant was empty.
