I'm 52 and have been eating here most of my life, it is the best German restaurant in Texas. There are a few good ones elsewhere but Rudi's is the best. They have entrees no elsewhere else does and the the added salad bar was delicious. When Rudi sold this place to the new owners it lost a couple things like tableside midnight coffee and bananas foster, but the recipes stayed the same. The breads and spreads are amazing, always have to take some home. They are closed...

We got a reservation for 5 pm to miss the crowd on Saturday night. It was a wonderful experience! The waitress was so attentive, warm, and experienced. She knew what we needed and delivered it before we asked. The entertainer, a very talented Accordion player, played a variety of music and took requests that we were able to dance to. This place is fantastic. The food has great portions and is reasonably priced, service (Especially Greta) was so sweet, attentive, & quick, and all the food tasted authentic from my time in Germany! Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Try the sampler plates for a good variety & massive portion!
