The food does not have Cuban flavor. I had the vaca frita and it had a condiment like curry which was overpowering. The congri was salty and greasy and it didn’t taste good. The croquetas were round and made of pork and cheese, they were not croquetas. The tamal cubano was good and the yuca con mojo. The cafe cortadito was awful made with evaporated milk. Very disappointed. Overall.
The best restaurant in houston ever. Top 5 of all time. Each time we've gone, the service has been impeccable and generous. I forget our server's name, but she is the reason we come back. Thanks to her, we've tried Pina coladas, tamals, and plantains - we're blown away by the food and her kindness. To our server, thank you for taking care of us so well!
The food was good not great but good. Lots of flavor, but I ordered lamb and it tasted like goat. The server was very nice. The time I went in no one was there so service was pretty quick. I would like to go back and try something different to get a better idea.
