We had an absolutely incredible dining experience at Rumi’s Kitchen! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and every dish we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented — truly a standout spot for Persian/Mediterranean cuisine in Houston.
The service was exceptional; our server Berke was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations and ensuring our evening was perfect.
We can’t wait to come back again soon! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch meal and standout hospitality.

We had such an incredible experience at Rumi’s Kitchen. Even on a very busy night, the service was exceptional. Liz was so kind and helpful in accommodating us, and our server, Berke from Turkey, was absolutely awesome. He was incredibly intuitive and attentive — it honestly felt like he anticipated our needs before we even asked. A few times we casually mentioned something to each other at the table, and moments later he showed up with exactly what we needed. That level of attentiveness is rare.

We ordered the Chicken Barg, Kubideh Kebab, and Shish Kebab, and everything was outstanding — especially the Chicken Barg and Kubideh. The fresh bread was delicious, and the burnt honey and pistachio cake for dessert was truly next level. Something we’ve never had before and completely out of this world.

An unforgettable meal from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back.

I am visiting Houston and tried Rumi... Top notch!!! Best persian food in North America!!! By far better than top persian restaurants in Toronto, LA, and NYC that I have tried... I highly recommend this place... this is the home for a great service and top quality persian food....

We went here for my 77th Birthday and it was great. The food was delicious and much better than I expected. The atmosphere was amazing. Service was excellent.This is different but they have the best house sparkling water that I have ever tasted!👍👍

30+ minute wait at the door even with a reservation. There were probably 20 people waiting and it continued like that for the two hours I was there. The food itself was alright, nothing to write home about.

Food was excellent! Large quantities, so next time we will likely have the appetizers and split a main. (We're old! 😂) Ambiance was very nice. It appeared to be fully booked, but noise level did not really distract from conversation. Will certainly return!

I came here for the first time for a galentines dinner and it was such a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, I had the lamb ribs and labneh charred tomato, the flavor was amazing. I also had the sea bass and it was so buttery and flavorful. For the dessert they were serving a date cake and it has now become a favorite dessert of mine! The cocktails were also superb we took our waitress’s recommendation and it lived up to my expectations. Can’t wait to come back here again!

Food portions were terribly shocking and was definitely not worth the price. The bathrooms were nasty.

So far today, this is by far the best restaurant that I've been to in Houston my wife and I went here for Valentine's Day to celebrate and we knew immediately that the restaurant would be great just on the ambience of the front door. We did a five course meal for their Valentine's Day special and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of flavor from every dish. Between the Seabass and the lamb BBQ, I could not tell which one I liked more they were both great hits. The dessert was amazing! My wife and I plan to come back soon so we can try different parts of the menu. The service was also great and the server was knowledgeable.

Berke was our server and he was very friendly and attentive. It was our first time and it was an excellent experience. We will definitely be back!

Valentine Prix Fixe is perfect way to try new food!! All food was delicious and interesting. Rice was a little crunchy, but other than that a perfect Valentine's feast!
