Hands down the best Persian restaurant in town. Food tastes amazing, but recently they’ve decreased their food portions.

My first time ever trying Persian cuisine and it turns out very awesome. To be honest, I was afraid to try at first because I’d heard that Persian cuisine is pretty flavorful and savoury. However, Rumi’s Kitchen made me change my mind completely. Their portion is pretty big too. My friend and I ordered 4 dished to share but we still had some leftovers to take home.I started with a cocktail called Breeze at Dawn. It was a great combination of vodka, passionfruit, ginger, and lemon. Super refreshing for your hot summer day!All of my food was well-marinated. The meat was fresh and perfectly cooked. My ribeye was soft enough, and the lamb ribs didn’t smell bad at all. I was extremely impressed with the seasoning of the cauliflower as well.Additionally, the customer service was excellent. Our server is dedicated and helpful. As what I know, Rumi’s Kitchen only offer one menu throughout the day and they don’t even have break in between. Therefore, it’s such a great place for your next date, no matter with friends or clients. The only thing I was not happy is about the parking. You can do valet actually. But if you park by yourself, there is a limited parking lot nearby.

Delicious food and a beautiful space!! I loved the high ceilings and ambiance. The parking situation confused me: turn into the little brick area that is a single lane and looks like it might be a walking only area. They won't seat you until your entire party is there so don't spend 20 minutes circling for parking like I did ?

An excellent upscale Persian cuisine hot spot where you can take a first time date, partner of many years, or a potential business partner. The ambiance is beautiful and the staff is excellent.Parking: Parking is not easy to find, especially if you happen to drive past the restaurant, as it’s very easy to miss. There is a valet option, but that isn’t for everyone, myself included. I went past the restaurant into the upscale shopping center a block down on the same side of the street. I wasn’t sure if that left me subject to being towed, but I didn’t have a problem. There is also plenty of security in the form of off duty police, I counted four in the parking lot.

We visited Rumi's for a birthday and could not rave enough at the attention the server and support staff catered to our table.. Such a delight to have the attention and care put into making our visit a memorable one. AGAIN, this team is astounding at making your visit perfect. The food was top notch and I could rave about each dish, and each coctail.. so good.We had appetizers, main course, and complementing savory dishes served on time and in abundance. Almost too abundant when it came to the rice. The only dish i would not recommend would be the Lamb Shank. It was stewwed in broth and slightly overcooked. The flavor was gone and replaced with a brothy nothingness. Please do not let this deter you from visiting, just do not order the Lamb Shank (order the Rack of Lamb instead, or the appetizers Lamb).

I want to profoundly thank one of the staff, a Persian gentleman named BRANDE (sp?).I misplaced my cell phone. I called the restaurant and spoke with BRANDE. He checked with the manager at the valet service, Found my phone, and called me back. It was so professionally handled I thought it deserved a special review and, of course, a thank you for a job well done.John Yochum

The food is excellent and the drinks are great.I didn't like that the waiters brought the incorrect order to our table twice, when filling the glasses (with water or wine) they spilled into us and since the tables were super close between each other they spilled water when filling the glasses of the other tables. Be prepared to wait for your cocktails (15+ minutes). What I disliked the most was how packed all the tables were, it felt like eating in an economy flight in which you can barely move your arms.We were 10 in our table, so we had to sign a contract, leave a 220 dollars deposit and a minimum consumption of 1200, which we did but sounded a bit excessive.

We had a very disappointing experience here. In light of all the positive reviews, we were hopeful, but needless to say, we won't be returning here.Service was extremely slow and to make matters worse, the table next to us had two women who were openly vaping inside the restaurant. I would expect that at a dive bar, but not a restaurant like this. It got to the point that the vape smoke was clouding over our food. We informed the waiter and manager, and their only offer was to move us to a different table. They couldn't be bothered to ask the table to stop smoking, but they were fine inconveniencing us.When the remainder of our food was brought it, the chicken and lamb dish were served on the same platter, which should never happen. The wait staff were apologetic, but only offered us free dessert. At that point, we had been there so long that it wasn't worth it.We won't be going back. Too many other good restaurants that offer better service and a more comfortable atmosphere. Not sure why this place is hyped up so much. You're better off going to Uchiko next door.
