Hosted an anniversary party for my parents here, and cannot say enough great things about Szilvia and her staff. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful. We had a mishap with our cake (purchased elsewhere) while driving down and our waitress told us not to worry about it, that she would fix it, and she did! She went way above and beyond. The wine was amazing, and our guests had a wonderful time. Szilvia was very knowledgeable and kind, and we loved learning about the wines from her. She also helped us with a wine gift for my parents with a custom label, and was so communicative with us during the planning process. She even texted me when we were on the way down and asked me to let her know when we were close so she could have our guests hide and surprise my parents. We could not have asked for a better host or venue. Highly recommend Szilvia and Sable Gate!

Ordered two wine tastings. Waiter brought out 10 glasses of wine and commenced to telling us about all 10 at once. I've been to wineries all over Texas and have never had them all served at one time like this. Between the 10 wine glasses, our two water glasses and the food board. It was a recipe for disaster. Husband ended up knocking a glass over which had a domino effect. I got up to go to the restroom,, came back to sit in a wet chair. Hubby said waiter must have spilled when picking up stuff. Very weird and overpriced. Will not be back.

Cute hosting spot; there for a Sofar Event. I never heard of a "Texas Malbec," and it is a "No" for me, but others seemed to enjoy the sparkling sweet red, and the flat bread pizzas were very tasty. The owner and staff were very nice and accommodating. Didn't realize this place was right in front of "The Warehouse" and parking is a beast. So it is best to get an early street meter or do an Uber or lyft.

Both of the rosé wines I tried were very good. The first, "shortcake," is perfect if you love a very sweet rosé, and "pink" was a still, drier blend of zinfandel and moscato. Nice, quiet atmosphere, and a couple of good places for photos. The service was pleasant and informative.However, the owner did go to every other table but mine to personally greet her guests, even while I was in the midst of a conversation with one of the guests at a table that she greeted. (Still she didn't bother to say a simple hello.) It was rude, and whatever her reasons, it was enough to steer me towards another winery in the future.

Small parking lot next door. If busy, parking can be a bit tight. They have a variety of wines. The place is large-great for private parties as well. The staff was wonderful. I appreciated the cleanliness and that they were able to handle large volumes.

I ordered a glass of their sweetest white wine. Forgot what it's called but it was nice. I'll have to return back to do a wine tasting.Came here mainly for the bachata class they offer every Tuesday night by Latin Dance Factory. It was a full class. There is a social after the 2 hour lesson. Small dance floor for the number of people present. Regardless it was still fun.
Sable Gate is a wonderful place to enjoy time with family and loved ones. Szilvia and team made our wedding rehearsal so special and such a unique experience for us and our guests. It was perfect and exactly what we were looking for to celebrate together. The wine and charcuterie boards are fabulous!

I’m so happy I was introduced to this place, I love a good Winery. The fact the owner, Szilvia came to our table and introduced herself spoke highly of the establishment. Szilvia’s not only knowledgeable but her passion for wine was very much present as she spoke. I will be telling all my friends and family about this winery. The wine was phenomenal and the pizza was cooked to perfection with plenty of flavor. Don’t wait go visit now.
