Going to agree Like other reviewers comments said, yes it’s expensive what you get of the portion. I did a pickup order 4:10pm on a Sunday cuz I’m in limited time for work , cost $24 for that green noodle steak dish . I’m about to finish going to every Peruvian restaurant in Houston. So I can say this, this restaurant is like if you are “craving Peruvian food but too lazy to drive far for a good one”.

I don’t appreciate the server giving me bad service assuming that I am coming with a big party, but wont approach me to ask me if I’m by myself or with a group of people that called in advanced. I don’t mind whenever an item is out completely because I’m prepared to order something else, but you ignoring me purposely and making me feel some type of way when I have been to multiple restaurants out of the whole Houston area, this is the first one that my hometown food made me feel ever disrespected out of my 28 years of life.

This small Peruvian restaurant has consistent quality from the owner and chef from Lima, Peru. Very relaxed environment and friendly service. All of the dishes I have tried over the years have never disappointed. I highly recommend the Leche de Tigre.

Very expensive, bad service only one waitress that also has to cook clean and everything else ,the Peruvian roasted chicken is old and taste like frozen and the arroz con mariscos is just lots of rice with 3 shrimp 2 mussels and I’m not exaggerating the cook/ manager/ owner said it himself that was the portion and is 27 dollars for very bad rice everything is 70% more expensive in this place and the food is awful even the passion fruit juice is old and watery that’s why is always empty.

We used to like it a lot, but have now found that it has become increasingly very expensive for the product you receive.
A small ceviche is now $25 (at the price point of more upscale places that have higher quality).
Lo siento pero ya no es lo mismo y hay mejores ofertas en la ciudad…

We always come back to our regular places if the service is on top of the food no matter what but we are not coming back to this place bc server there sucks, it’s funny because it has been the same one 3 or 4 times

New visit 3-21-25
Better service and food was ok and pricey

I went to Sabor y Sazón Peruvian Restaurant, and I was not very happy with my visit. The place was empty at lunchtime, which felt a little strange. Since I was new to the place, I asked the server for some suggestions and she was completely clueless. So, I ordered ceviche, but honestly, I have had better at other places. The portion was very small, but the price was very high. The lemon taste was too strong, and I could not taste the fish at all. I was expecting some chifles to be included with the price but none were offered. I also got a drink, chicha morada, but same problem, it was too small for the price.
However, the chicha morada tasted good. The tables were clean, the music was not too loud, and the server was nice.

Overall, I expected more for the price. I don’t think I will come back.

Nice place, very small.
Main menu items availability is spotty-no anticuchos the day I went but the ceviche was exquisitely fresh and simple.
I will definitely return ,the hosts were very gracious.

We were looking for authentic Peruvian food..
the food is not worth the price, my husband ordered mix ceviche it was super small portion, more fish than any other seafood, I ordered pollo a la brasa wanted to find that traditional taste what a deception. The service so,so it could be better ..

The food was absolutely amazing. The service was great. It is very expensive for the serving size. You do not get enough food for the money you spend.
