This place was awesome. We went for dinner, not sure what to expect. The food was wonderful and the service was delightful. They will even help you order depending on your dietary concerns. Even though the front of restaurant is deceiving, don’t let that fool you! This place is a gem. The decor is thoughtful and romantic. And the desserts are delicious.

Absolutely Appalling Experience at Saffron Indian Kitchen, Houston
My recent event at Saffron Indian Kitchen in Houston was nothing short of a disaster, leaving me utterly dismayed and deeply regretting our choice of venue. What was promised to be a special occasion turned into a series of frustrating disappointments, highlighting a shocking lack of professionalism and attention to detail.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Saffron Indian Kitchen had failed to deliver on fundamental aspects we had explicitly discussed and confirmed. The absence of linen covers on the tables and chair bows was glaringly obvious, as well as no plates, napkins and utensils on the table making the entire setup look cheap and unfinished. This wasn't a minor oversight; it was a blatant disregard for the agreed-upon aesthetic and a significant detraction from the ambiance we had envisioned.

The technical issues were equally infuriating. The projector was broken, rendering it completely useless for our presentation. This is an absolutely critical piece of equipment for many events, and for it to be non-functional without any prior notice or a viable backup plan is simply unacceptable. It disrupted our schedule and forced us to scramble for alternatives, adding immense stress to an already chaotic situation.

However, the most egregious failing was the abysmal service during food distribution. We were left bewildered by the complete lack of stand-by servers while food was being served. This resulted in disorganization, delays, and a thoroughly unpleasant experience for our guests. It felt like a free-for-all, with no one to guide the flow, assist guests, or ensure a smooth and dignified meal service. This fundamental operational flaw speaks volumes about the management's inability to execute even the most basic event requirements.

In summary, our experience at Saffron Indian Kitchen was a catastrophic failure. The venue failed on basic decor, crucial equipment, and, most importantly, the fundamental provision of service during a key part of our event. It was a very bad experience that I would not wish upon anyone. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere if you value professionalism, reliability, and a positive event experience.

My recent Sunday afternoon experience at your buffet was disappointing. The food quality was below expectations, and while some dishes initially showed promise in terms of flavor, the overall execution was lacking. Furthermore, the service provided by a middle-aged male server was unprofessional. His demeanor was perceived as rude and demeaning, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. I strongly recommend addressing these issues to improve the dining experience for future patrons.

Food was not that great, it was just ok but prices are reasonable and large quantity!

Customer service was really really rude!!!

The guy who served the food had no smile on his face until we leave!

We were done eating and we handed over the card to pay, he took a card and got the bill, we thought will write the tip like we do at other restaurants like Olive Garden etc..but this guy he tipped himself without our consent and gave us bill!!
It’s not that we would walk out without tipping him!!

Definitely not visiting again, pass the msg to known people!

I had a pot tray order from this restaurant and he served us old food and Everybody got sick. and his lamb curries they were like weird pieces. I had a kidney piece like a full kidney, which is so gross like he’s been sourcing very cheap meat to serve. I do not recommend this place if you value your life and your stomach.
