the mochi donuts (regular and matcha) and vietnamese coffee were very good to me!
Husband loves their matcha frozen yogurt and then I let him beat me at chess
This is the best matcha in Houston! I’ve tried a couple places but nowhere else compares. I’m so sad I didn’t know about it before.
Honestly one of the best places I’ve eaten at in a while. The food came out hot, everything tasted fresh, and the flavors were on point. The staff was super friendly especially quan and checked on us just enough without hovering. The vibe inside was chill and comfortable too. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to highly recommend!
Excellent employees
I stopped by Saigon Matcha Arts last week for a quick drink and ended up having one of the best customer service experiences ever—thanks to Quan! From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with the warmest smile and genuine enthusiasm that instantly brightened my day.
I had a few questions about the menu since it was my first time there, and Quan patiently walked me through the different matcha options, even recommending a drink based on my taste preferences. He noticed I was on my laptop trying to study and offered to refill my water without me asking—small gesture, but it really showed how attentive he is to customers.
What really impressed me was learning that Quan is also a full-time student maintaining straight A’s. You’d never know how busy he is from the way he carries himself—always positive, calm, and focused on making sure everyone has a great experience. Even when the café got busy, he never lost his smile or sense of professionalism.
It’s rare to meet someone so hardworking and kind-hearted at such a young age. Quan truly represents the spirit of Saigon Matcha Arts—warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. I’ll definitely be back, not just for the delicious drinks, but because of people like Quan who make this place special.
I used to really like this place. Every time I come, they NEVER have hokkaido cheese ready. I came in today, and the girl working said it'd take an hour to clean the machine and have it ready. Tell me why I came back in an hour, and now one of the other employees tells me it'll be ANOTHER HOUR.
Even since the original owner sold the business, the quality has gone down.
This is the only place in Houston Ive found that serves Hokkaido cheese ice cream. If there were any where else, I'd go there.
And if im being honest... I think I just will not be coming back at all. New owners need to get a handle on their employees and get it together.
Cute shop with plenty of space to catch up with friends or study.
Very good quality soft serve ice-cream! I definitely plan to come back even though it is on the pricier side.
We had lunch at House of Bowls next door and decided to stop by Saigon Arts Matcha Cafe for dessert. So glad we did! The ube ice cream and Hokkaido cheese ice cream were super good, creamy, tasty, and not too sweet. My mother-in-law got the coffee with ice cream and loved it. The cone was light and crispy, it felt homemade. The cashier and server were really friendly and attentive. Overall just a great experience and perfect spot for dessert. We’ll definitely be back!

I really enjoyed the matcha soft serve.
their strawberry matcha tasted like water with strawberry pieces in it.
their ube soft serve is good, so i’ll give them a star for that.
This is definitely the best Matcha ice-cream I've ever had.
Their matcha drinks tastes like water but the ice cream is good
I got an iced matcha latte and added ice cream and a cute bear! The service was awesome, vibes peaceful, and the snacks delicious!
