The veggies were fresh and the service was A-1. I have two reasons why I can’t give them five stars: 1.) I was given a cookie that was past its best by time/date, but they did give me a fresh cookie (and that’s why it’s not a 3/5); and 2.) they don’t have a policy against animals sitting on the furniture in the lobby. A couple walked in two wet STANKY dogs from the rain, filling the lobby with the smell of unclean/wet dogs, and had one of them hop up on the seat. I love doggies, but… 🤢

This photo was before I started eating. Seafood mix was half a scoop with barely any meat on it. When I asked about it they said this was “ normal “.. I go to Salata frequently and this was definitely the most skimpy location. Worker was also confused as to how the kids meal worked. She asked if we wanted protein OR dressing. I said both since they’re both included… she responded with “ there’s only one more spot for either dressing or protein” .. she then proceeded to put the ranch dressing in a cup. The most complicated location. I’ve been here 2-3x and not very fond of this location.

Update: They kindly responded to my comment on the salty salmon and have invited me to revisit so that they can correct. Thank you, Salata, for your response. I shall try a different protein on my visit.
Salmon was surprisingly salty and our recommendation would be to consider a different protein, hopefully it will not be as salty as the salmon we tried on Feb 25, 2025.

I stopped by today and experienced fantastic and friendly service with a smile. I also received a delicious, well-topped salad.
I live nearby and visit infrequently, but I've never had an issue with my salad not being fresh or topped improperly in the times I've visited within the last 3 years.

Great place but it would really help if they had signs up showing prices and explanations of what is/isn't included in a standard bowl (like Chipotle does) . I felt unsure of what I was supposed to do upon walking in. Not the employees' fault though.

I am a huge fan of salata and pick up/get a salad delivered at least 1-2x per week. This is as my first time going to this location. The person making my salad was stingy about the BASE. That’s where you’d expect the most generosity. I had to ask for a little bit more feta & the lady was rude about it. Of course I got skimpy portions of all the toppings as well. The only generous sized scoop was of the chicken. When I’m paying $15 for a salad with chicken, I expect AT MINIMUM reasonable portions. I love salata & this is the closest location to my house. However I will not be returning to this location & will be driving further to go to the location on W Gray (river oaks), where they give reasonable portions & their employees are nice & helpful. Also the ladies behind the counter are very rude and told me it would be extra for toppings.

Dirty! Lady had gloves on to start my order, kept them on, handed me a menu and then grabbed a container of lettuce & started restocking - never changing gloves. I did not place an order because of she is doing this infront of me what I else is she touching and then touching the food!
