Everything sbout Salento was perfect. But what really makes the difference is the personalized attention every guest gets from it's owner. Definitely a stable in the Rice neighborhood for more than 20 years.
The meals were well prepared. Given how few people were there, I was surprised how long it took to prepare the meal. Our waitress was new and was sometimes a little forgetful. The restaurant was quiet, making conversation easy.
Took 30 minutes to be acknowledged at our table. An hour after ordering to get first course. Full brunch took over 3 hours! If anyone had even tried to acknowledge us and explain they were short staffed or sorry it was taking a while would have understood. But mostly just ignored for 95% of the 3 hours.
