Came in for drinks. Not the best cocktails and was surprised by the $8 entertainment fee. Music was very good though, the duo had a fantastic rapport with the crowd, and the bartender was lovely.

I was recommended by an acquaintance and it definitely hit the mark.

Pretty disappointed that I made a reservation at 6pm for a party of 2 to celebrate a friend’s birthday and upon receiving our bill there was an unexpected entertainment charge (with no foreknowledge) times 2 for $16. For at least two of the hours we sat there was no entertainment. I’ve come to eat here before and was never charged this so I was unaware. I don’t have a problem paying for something as long as it’s my decision to pay for it. I saw nothing posted when we arrived to check in. Neither the host who seated us nor the waitress who served us mentioned that this charge was mandatory. Unacceptable.

Food was excellent, however, service was subpar. The server was extremely nice, but Service was reminiscent of a chain restaurant versus a fine dining restaurant. For instance, took my date's drink order, but not mine. Asked for an appetizer that came out with the meal. Food was auctioned instead by seat number (if you ever waited table you understand this). Just a couple of examples. Overall the band was on point (if not a bit loud), the hostess very nice, and the food and drinks were very good. I could see why this place was dead on a Friday night though. Also, did not appreciate the auto grat for two people.

Just went to the bar. Couldnt process my card for some reason. Card worked later at Papas and another restaurant. Anyway, drink was great and the live band was awesome. Need more pretty ladies. Been there before and all was good.

The only positive I can say is that the band was great, but the food is overpriced and not that good. They are not upfront about the $10 "entertainment fee" per person and add an automatic 20% tip to each bill of a party of 6 or more. Drinks are extremely weak as well. Eat somewhere else before you go. Oh, and they ran out of some side items and just replaced them with whatever they felt like rather than giving us another choice off the menu. Awesome band though..ya live and learn!

The hostess and onsite manager were both rude and dismissive... they refused to honor a valid OpenTable reservation because it was made on the same day... the place was half empty... their attitudes were ridiculous and unacceptable.

The live music was a great accompaniment to my meal. For a Monday late afternoon it was pretty empty but that made my meal quick and the music that was being performed was a great way to wrap up my day
Had a great time

Visited Sambuca for HRW and was a little worried because of some of the mixed reviews. However, my experience was great. Our server Jaylah was amazing! She was knowledgeable, professional and genuinely friendly. We ordered the crab and shrimp bisque, caesar salad, smoked pork chop and shrimp scampi. They did not disappoint. The meal ended with the dessert trio (white choc cheesecake, chocolate toffee tort, and lemon tart). The atmosphere was pleasant. The music selection was well rounded and when the live music started, it became a fun vibe. Will definitely be back again.

We approached the front counter, where the host, who had an Afro and a bridge piercing, was texting on her phone. Even as we walked up, she didn't put her phone away, making us wait for about 30 seconds to a minute before acknowledging us. When she finally did, her demeanor was unwelcoming, and she didn't apologize for the delay.
We had a large party and asked if we could move another table over to avoid splitting the group. She curtly told us, 'No, we cannot block this section,' which is understandable. However, she offered no alternatives or additional assistance.
When we asked our waiter, they immediately helped by rearranging a table in a way that didn’t block or disturb anyone else.
As someone with over 10 years of customer service experience, including as a manager, I found her service unacceptable.

First time attending this restaurant and I was not disappointed at all. The service provided to us was great, food was good. Do expect a $10 dollar charge for the live band if you decide to attend.
