Had a great time at Sammie J’s! The atmosphere was welcoming, the drinks were on point, and the staff made the experience even better. You can really tell the place is well run—shoutout to [Nick], whose leadership and attention to detail show in every part of the bar. Definitely a spot I’d recommend and will be coming back to.
Sammie J's is the heart and soul of the neighborhood. I’ve been coming here since 2008, and it’s been phenomenal every time. It’s one of the few dive bars around with a full kitchen—and the food is seriously good. Pro tip: don’t miss Wednesday Steak Nights, cooked by Sammie herself. Delicious, affordable, and always hits the spot.

Every staff member in the bar was friendly, welcoming, and provided great service. I was looking for a GOOD burger and when I ate at Sammie’s I had a GREAT burger. The atmosphere pairs perfectly with a cold beer. Worth every penny. Make sure to bring a friend when you stop by!
