Simple diner with some great burgers and French fries. Always friendly and will go out of their way to ensure you come back.Parking: Not the easiest to find a parking spot at lunch time, so plan ahead. It is a shared parking lot with several businesses including enterprise car rental.

The small town feel in the big city. The food was just what I expect from a small town diner, tastes great but not diet friendly. If you get the chance then you should definitely stop by.

Burger was ok albeit the buns could've been better. I was definitely disappointed in both the fries and onion rings as they tasted like generic frozen ones. Prices were a bit high as it came out to about 15/person for a combo which alot of that was due to overpriced soft drinks. The other frustrating thing was the parking as it seemed every other tenant had reserved spots but then. In addition there is a enterprise car rental which took up a ton of spaces meaning we had to park a decent distance away.

Owners and staff were great. Food was very good including the shake. The Philly Cheese Steak sandwich was the best I've ever had. 1st timers and definitely will be back if we pass back through.

I have been going to Sams since the 90's. It is a great place for a huge burger and ice cream shakes. My favorite dish is the All Day Burger that has meat, lots of different cheese, eggs, bacon, sausage and other things. This place can get busy and they do not have alot of staff so you might have to wait some but it is totally worth it.

Sams Deli Diner is a comforting and delicious throwback to staple American classics from Burgers and Fries to milkshakes and root beer floats. The cafe pays homage to the many high schools in the area, bringing a sense of community throughout the eating space as patrons share stories of their days roaming the halls. Most of all, the food is excellent with juicy, mouth watering and very filling burgers made to perfection. Best to save some room for desert as the milkshakes are hand spun, made with fresh ingredients and mixed with Blue Bell ice cream. One of my coworkers got a cookies and cream shake which he stated was a great way to end a meal. If you are feeling nostalgic or just looking for a tasty burger to try out in Houston, definitely head to Sam's Deli Diner.

I eat here all the time and they make the best BLT sandwich in town. Diner’s have almost died off, but thankfully they are still here. I love the two owner’s. They work so hard getting everyone’s food done fast and I highly recommend them.

I've been a loyal customer of Sam's Deli since high school, and their food is simply amazing! I came across a negative review, and I have to say, it's absolute nonsense. I've never felt compelled to write a review before, but Sam's Deli's delicious food and top-notch service deserve recognition. For the past five years, I've enjoyed their incredible food and received the best service from any establishment. The flavors in their burgers are outstanding, and the service is exceptional. Thank you, Sam's Deli, for consistently serving me with excellence.Sincerely,Cameron Blanks

their food was all absolutely amazing! I could not be happier with the chili cheese burger and lily's shake! Atmosphere was welcoming, and I was served quickly and well so all in all, it was absolutely worth every penny!

The milkshakes take forever. Good, yes, if you're not in a rush to get back to work or school. Got a snippy attitude from the Asian lady working there when I asked her about it. "There's only two of us, we're short staffed." The shake at this point was pushing 45 minutes because I ate my meal long before the shake was done. A few people had left upset while I was there before ordering because apparently they put things to go and shut the dining room down 30 minutes before and will turn the lights off while people are still eating for them to "get the hint." They don't like seeing people, their attitudes, at least, the Asian woman, was repulsive, and the customers are the ones paying their bills and everything. I won't be back. Truly unpleasant. I'm all for mom and pop but maybe, JUST MAYBE they should consider another occupation that isn't in customer/public service.
