Excellent food; the catch of the day was very fresh and delicious and that tomato sauce + rice w/onions for the fish was incredible; the mixed kabobs similarly were great

Absolutely loved dining at Sayed Mediterranean Kitchen! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned — from the creamy hummus and warm bread to the massive mixed grill platter that was full of juicy kebabs, chicken, and lamb. The presentation was amazing, and every dish tasted homemade and authentic. The service was friendly and attentive, and the cozy ambiance made it a great place to enjoy a meal with family. Definitely one of the best Mediterranean spots in Houston — highly recommend!

The food here was delicious. Was in an afternoon and wasn’t very busy but service was attentive and helpful.

We tried the Mendi lamb and arayes. Both were delicious. Especially the red tomato sauce with the lamb. Also the baba ghanoush was delicious with the fresh bread.

Very nice restaurant with a good vegetarian selection. I was with a Palestinian friend and he said that the taste is just like what it was in the Levant.
We ordered falafel which was crisp and falvourful. The Hummus and the Fuul made of fava beans had a lovely blend of all the flavours. Zatae basedpizza like dish was excellent as was the naan. Looking forward to my next visit.

Every item on here is extremely authentic and very tasty. Similar to eating my mother’s food. Also many other good options for people not accustomed to middle eastern food. The freshly baked warm bread with olive oil is the best part.

As someone with a fully trained and legally protected service dog, I was treated with absolute disrespect and exclusion at this restaurant.

Despite plenty of open tables in the main dining area, my party was placed in the far back near the restrooms, clearly to keep us “out of view.” Things got worse when a server approached, noticed the dog quietly at my feet, and screamed in an over-the-top reaction that drew unwanted attention. Instead of apologizing, he joined staff—including the manager—in laughing loudly. No one approached us to offer an apology or even pretend to care.

As we left, some patrons went so far as to cover their faces, reacting to my clean, well-behaved dog with visible disgust—as though he was unclean or unwelcome. It was an embarrassing and isolating moment that made me feel like I didn’t belong in a country that’s supposed to value inclusion, accessibility, and compassion.

If your business operates in the U.S., learn U.S. law and respect disabled patrons. I hope this review reaches someone who can address the blatant disregard shown not just for service animal law, but for basic human decency.

Thank you guys for the disappointment and sorry for this review but we came from Dallas to try you and we were not happy everything was plain and had no flavor from the fish to the chicken shawarma and the mix grill but the hummus and the bread the only thing deserve 5 stars Mango juice was water with color even they switched it for me but it was the same and it was expensive as well.

Outstanding experience at Sayad, one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Houston. The service was outstanding, fast and courteous. The owner visited the tables few times. The food was super flavorful and filling. We ordered the veggie sampler, fried calamari and fattoush salad with on site baked bread, all great. We then ordered the grilled sea bass along with tehina casserole and sayadeyah rice. Also ordered the ouzi clay pot (mandi), both were exceptionally delicious, just like home. Highly recommended
