Glad this placed closed down . Visited the weekend of my birthday September 29th . Got charged for my table and the table behind me, they refunded my money for the table behind me but had to wait 3-5 business days for that. We reached out to the manager KK and he basically told us everything on how he became manager and the whole life story of this restaurant, which wasn’t professional at all, he informed us he would partially refund back what was correctly charged and for us to send him our names and last 4 digits of the card used, we did just that and he never refund and stop replying to us, hopefully he learns more of a manager roll but the owners are to blame and as I read the reviews I can see why they closed. ( we recorded the whole conversation with KK )

Hands down the worst restaurant in Houston Texas. It took an hour for us to get our drinks...another hour for food!! There was no performance!! This was a Saturday night! The only thing management said was its there last day open!!! It was my birthday which made the experience even more horrible

Amazing ambiance, beautiful people, courteous service, DJ, etc.
I tried the grilled pork chop for my entrée, which came highly recommended, but it was nothing special. It lacked seasoning/flavor.
I highly recommend the mac n cheese.
I enjoyed my dessert and the dessert of others I tried.

They are closed for remodeling no one called or explained this to us my reservation party showed up to an empty restaurant which was unlocked! Very disappointed and will never go back this was for my best friends birthday!
They said they were closing! Informed us that last night, Oct 5.. was the last night! So sad. Such a beautiful establishment. Service was good, food was good.. drinks were pricey but good. I had the Salmon and my husband the lamb chops.. both were with crab fried rice. My husband loved the rice because it reminded him of some he's had in his hometown of Chicago. For drinks I had gluttony and my husband had wrath. I expected gluttony to be bigger.. but it was good. Hopefully they change their mind on closing because we'd definitely come back!
Se7en is a beautiful place . You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into designing this gorgeous space . That being said all of that beauty was lost on the service. Which explains why such an amazing location was empty on a Saturday night. I chose Se7en to celebrate my birthday with 4 close friends and they DID DISAPPOINT. We were sat 30 mins AFTER our reservation. Then we ended up with a female server who was very nonchalant and appeared to not be interested in being at work that evening. Something in the air caused me to start choking . An asthma sufferer I asked for a glass of warm water to help open my lungs and combat an oncoming attack and the server took 15 mins to bring me a simple glass of warm water . Thank GOD I had my inhaler . She said she forgot . When it was time for our food to come out it came out one plate at a time . I had the Seabass which was slightly warm . It tasted fresh but since it was almost cold I couldn't really enjoy it . Two of my girlfriends had the lamb chops which were just okay and another had the salmon. She said she liked it but it was also cold. Probably because of how long it took the server to come back with everything . Finally when the night was over one of my girlfriends hadn't finished her food . She wanted to take it home but instead of the server boxing it up she threw it in the trash. $53 for subpar lamb chops and you throw them in the trash??? When we spoke to her about it she said she was sorry she misunderstood the assignment of boxing up left overs for guests who don't eat all of their food but she couldn't replace what she threw out . We asked to speak to a manager who never showed to our table . She did however speak to the manager herself who then sent a freshly made dinner back to the table. That took another 25 mins. I could say more about the experience but I think you catch my drift. They definitely could use some server training and coordinate better with their kitchen staff .
The restaurant is beautiful with very cute vibes, great for selfies. The music was also very good, Early 2000s. Very cool atmosphere. For a Thursday there were not a lot of people there which surprised me because the look and feel was fun. Food I loved - had the lamb chops and fried rice and the lamb chops were cooked perfectly. The appetizer dumplings were also good, had some spice to it. Drinks were pretty good too. If you like tequila, the lust was my favorite. Blackberry flavored. The one thing we were not that happy with was the service. Being that the restaurant was not that busy you would think service would have been top notch but had to request things a couple of times because waiter forgot and the drinks took a bit long to get. Otherwise I would recommend.

I visited SE7EN to celebrate my birthday last night with a group of friends,10 people. While the ambiance was chic and inviting, the food and service left much to be desired.
There was only one waitress assigned to our large party, and she seemed completely overwhelmed, which resulted in a less-than-stellar experience. Throughout the night, her attitude was noticeably unpleasant, and the quality of service suffered because of it. Our food arrived lukewarm, and there was a general lack of attentiveness. When I brought up these concerns to the manager, he was understanding and made a genuine effort to make things right by comping the drinks for our table, which was much appreciated.
However, the situation took a turn for the worse when the waitress, after being informed of my complaint, began questioning my guests and me about the specific issues in a way that came across as defensive and condescending. Her "apology" felt passive-aggressive, capped with a statement about the experience not being perfect, as though we were asking too much. I calmly reminded her that I don’t expect perfection but do expect basic standards like sanitary wait staff and hot food.
Overall, SE7EN may have an appealing atmosphere and a decent bar, but the food and service were a letdown. If I return, it will only be for drinks. I do, however, want to commend the manager for his professionalism and effort to address the situation.

There was no show as promised... apparently they called in. The music is played too loud as it is difficult to have conversation with your guests... especially in the booth area as the speakers are right above the tables. We were able to move to a table closer to the bar.. which allowed us to have reasonable conversation. Some of the food was cold and had to be returned. Beautiful restaurant... subpar service.
Celebrated my birthday at SE7EN. Ambiance was nice, but food and service were disappointing. The manager comped drinks, but the overwhelmed waitress had an attitude. After speaking with the manager, she confronted us in a rude manner. Drinks were good, but I won't be returning for the food.
