If I were to get up and walk out I would be chased down to pay my tab. But every time I come here the service is literally a chase. The time it takes for someone to walk up to your table and take your order to the time you need a refill is just annoying. You have to literally flag down any server just to get anything done. We automatically tip %18 which is robbery. I prob will not be back until the tipping policy is adjusted to where we can tip what is actually earned.On the brighter side the crab rice and oxtails are a win. The oxtails are great actually. And the lemonade is great.But I will be missing out until I get word that the service is better.

The food was so good! The catfish dinner plate came with 2 daily sides (Mac n cheese and crab rice). The fish and Mac were awesome. Flavorful and just what I needed. I wasn’t a huge fan of the crab rice, it was a little dry but still good flavor. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The vibes were there and you can byob which is always a plus!!!

Food was too greasy and did not taste that great. On top of that I just checked my card statement and see they charged me almost double what my bill was in addition to adding a "service charge". not pleased at all.

From the door to the table you're treated like family. Amazing customer service and room for large crowds. The food is absolutely incredible! Everything we ordered was better than the last. The greens are spicy (which I like and turkey based for the non pork ppl) the seating isn't the most comfortable. Also you can BYOB for 10 PP

A week ago, my wife and I were looking for a seafood restaurant to eat at and Seafood Connection came up but due to the time of day and how busy it was, we couldn't get in but today, on our way back from Galveston, we decided to stop and it was the best decision ever. I'm a foodie so when I saw that they offered ox tails, I had to try them because I never have tried them before and my god, they were amazing! Tender, well seasoned and the grits under them were perfect. I love my veggies so I had to try the collard greens and they were also amazing! So much so that my wife ended up ordering some for herself. Lol She got the fish Po-Boy with onion rings which she enjoyed very much and my daughter got the kids tenders basket and said "these are the best fries I've ever seen!" She ate more today than she has eaten all weekend so that was also a good sign that they serve good food.As for the environment, I personally loved it. Great decor, music and many TV's as well as outdoor seating.Service was top notch considering how packed it was. Malcolm, you outdid yourself, man. Even before we came in to eat, when we were just potential customers, you went out of your way to make sure we didn't get towed and I thank you for that. Never change, boss!All in all, my experience at Seafood Connection was a 10/10. We will definitely be making that 2 hour drive to come back very soon.PS, y'all gotta try the collard greens! Lol

This place is absolutely amazing! My server Alex was so awesome. She was polite kind worked quickly and efficiently. Her smile and beautiful personality is definitely contagious! The variety of choices was really nice which made it difficult to choose. I got the lockjaw platter and was not disappointed! Truly amazing! I will definitely be back soon. I don’t know why this place has such a low rating, the food and atmosphere was great. You get an immediate good vibe when you walk through the door.

My son took me here for my birthday and the food was outstanding!!!! The friendly service, the warm, laid back atmosphere, the decor…..PERFECT!!!! I fell in love with the homemade macaroni and cheese and collard greens. It’s one of those hidden Gems that you have to go to in order to get the full effect of how wonderful this place is. I’ll definitely be going back there with my girlfriends.

Nice place...good location...parking is good. Food is amazing...it was seasoned to perfection and that butter sauce they use is off the chain...make sure you get some extra. They don't serve alcohol but you can byob...they do have soft drinks, tea's, and icee's. If you are an inexperienced crab leg eaten like me you might want to bring your own crab leg cracker or you'll be using your teeth...also no bibs are supplied so you will need to bring your own, a towel, or tuck some napkins in your shirt. Other than that the atmosphere was great, service was good, and our experience was cool. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.????
Very clean restaurant, the food was amazing, the waitress was very attentive and efficient. Malcolm was very helpful and patient as well. I recommend everyone try them out.

The food was good, the fried fished was fried right, very good flavor. The rice that came with it had to much seasoning.. couldn't tell if it was tyme, oregano or what but it was too strong. This place doesn't serve alcohol yet and it has music like a club atmosphere

I’m from Norman, OK where we don’t get real seafood like I like it. I’ve been in Houston since July 2019 and because of my love of seafood have checked out quit a bit of places (plenary of more to sample now that COVID is being beat) and Seafood Connection is my number one neighborhood go-to after finally trying it a couple days ago. The staff was VERY nice, place is clean, and the most importantly the food was excellent. I’m not just talking out the side of my face either! I got the fried shrimp platter and added a crab legs. Absolutely delicious! Seasoned very well and not over cooked. Now to sample the other items on the menu for sure. Definitely an every weekend stop for me (unless when I’m a broke student lol) and hopefully during the week because I’m tired of cooking and can’t make the seafood like this. A must stop with you have family in town and want a delicious lunch, that’s what I’m going to do.
